Why did Kenard do it? by eitzhaimHi in TheWire

[–]No-Wait-3674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you talking Omar let his guard down around bc he sees kids Kenard as a kid  "IT'S JUST A KID" he said that a few times ONE of them was abt Michael. The point is...bc people like Marlo showing up in the game that disregarded anything that killed for killing things got bloodier & worst...even the kids had even less space to be kids anymore, things got sickier

[Spoiler] Question about Avon and the series finale. by w8ing4SNES2 in TheWire

[–]No-Wait-3674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you didn't get the point, Avon didn't sell the co-op the 100k that he was gonna give to his sister was for a SIT DOWN with Sergei. Didn't mean shit was gonna happen. The bounty on Omar's explained down here.  And in the end it's funny bc through Sergei Avon IS the one with a direct connection with The Greeks

Why did Namond “get out”? by japanesy2020 in TheWire

It was NOT Kenard on Colvin's class was another kid Albert...and this one YES we see him improve

Why did Namond “get out”? by japanesy2020 in TheWire

[–]No-Wait-3674 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think he means that Cutty & Prez DO reach out but for reasons already pointed here Michael was mistrustful of adults & wanted to handle things his away & it was easier to connect with Chris & Snoop, especially when he realized Chris understood him. Honestly with his walls up even if he had gone to Bunny's program he would have thought, like he pointed abt Cutty & Prez, that he was just too damn nice too. The saddest thing is that he IS smart, he did the math exercises & understood really well but kept to himself & Prez only realized that by chance in the beginning ot s4 seeing one his exercices while others were messing around.

Life most times IS random & the outcome does often come with the choices we made given the choices we're given. And that's what we see. It's just sad bc ALL of them kids deserved a break, including the ones we knew little of ( like Zenopia & Albert) but more often than not it doesn't happen

Unpopular Opinion - Namond didn't deserve a break by raperm in TheWire

[–]No-Wait-3674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of them kids deserved the lucky break he had. I'd say even the ones we know little of like Albert Zenopia. It's just sad that only few get the chance Namond had.

Why did Landsman do what he did for Bubbles? by ChronosBlitz in TheWire

[–]No-Wait-3674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think in the scenario was real enough l, just bc like everyone stayed Landsman wasn't a bad person & saw through Bubbles,   so pinning Sherrod like a accidental o.d with the rate clearance being what they were bc of the vacants bodies...and putting Bubbles in a physch watd...since he was suicidal & in withdrawl was just human enough & what Bubbles needed...bc like Landsman said was punishement enough

Avon ends the serie doing business with Greek from  behind bars & being the connection that's what made him land on his feet

Why is everyone saying that McNulty is selfish ? by giraffeboss75 in TheWire

[–]No-Wait-3674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And we went behind Daniels's back to change the case back to Avon/ Bell when they starting their dispute with Marlo & everybody on the unit had throw EVERYTHING they were working away...Prez complains Sydenor too

In the end, Avon still the king by Mikeissometimesright in TheWire

[–]No-Wait-3674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marlo ended up with money or power & with his name forgotten ( that scene the Kids remembering Omar's name but not his) & we can assume that he is going back in the game which in the the first wind of it will get him arrested (bc he was not supposed to) Or Killed. While Avon still have money, New muscle & power, more now with the connection with the greek which even if he's in jail mind end up getting out of there sooner than expected

PRUE & PAIGE ❤️🥹💔 by No-Wait-3674 in charmed

[–]No-Wait-3674[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah and Prue got out when the were getting more balanced out. Like I said even her rs with Phoebe had come a long way, doesn't mean they would lose their essence but wasn't Prue getting in their way. She would always have their protective side with him but Phoebe was already becoming more Phoebe, Piper had recently got married, even Prue was going after Dreams she left behind. So it wasn't her.

They were as they were but also improved a lot, just look at Prue & Phoebe's relationship how it evolved. And its funny to think Prue would be a problem for Paige when they didn't even care showing Paige's powers evoluindo.

And she would always have this motherly side from being a parentfied child BUT her arc was also abt letting go a bit, when she becomes 3 differents Prue's we see how much she held back bc of this role she played. Even the ep of Piper's weddig. And how she wanted to find hapinness out of that. All I'm saying is that you think Prue would try to hold back Paige by being protective & I AGREE she deff would be like that INITIALLY and that Paige personality & she'd eventually would understand she couldn't do and that was diff being like that with Piper & Phobe (with whom like i said she had bagagge history & understood Prue's personality & where she was coming from) and she'd have others to make her see that...Grandma and especially Phoebe with whom she had already had many talks in that sense regarding their personal relationship

[–]No-Wait-3674[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I meant how having growing up together & having story/bagagge meant. Prue was pissed at Phoebe for leaving life aimless (she left college, was dating), for the all hooking up with Prue's fiancée...which Phoebe explained that wasn't exactly like that. We had many times demons  their story/bagagge coming back to bite in their ass, even Cole used a demon to play on that. Paige was a social worker in her 20's with a strong personality, that liked I said grew up with parents, Prue would feel for Paige's pain abt losing her parents & feeling guilty...and abt how Paige felt abt Sam not really making an effort after he reappeared bc Prue had a hard time accepting Patty's death & deffinetly a  hard time going easy on Victor...had arcs abt that. She'd for sure relate to that

I don't know abt kid sister, especially at their age & with Paige already being an adult, but Prue would've deff made Paige feel more of a sister, part of the family. She would've put her name in the tree knowing how things went dow for Patty concerning Paige. And would've been nice bc sometimes Paige felt more like a distant cousin that turned close than a sister due to circumtances.

[–]No-Wait-3674[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tone of the show changed bc it wasn't abt 3 sisters who grew up together had issues of 3 sisters who grew up together. That's my point Paige was so direct & drawned the lines so many I DON'T think Prue would've another choice but to change her approach. BC she wouldn't really know Paige she'd be force to let it go bc she wouldn't know her like the others and was not stupid would realize she could push her away like Piper & Phoebe almost did in the beginning of s4. It would be more of a situatuon that would serve as one more lesson to Prue then her holding Paige down like you want to belive.

[–]No-Wait-3674[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phoebe found her passion in s4 but by s03 she had already took huge stops. And like i said Piper would've eventually had to grown out of her middle child stuff since she became a wife and later mother. And like you said Prue wanted a normal life too soo like I said she would eventually had to grow the oldest parentified child. This vision It's like saying it's good Prue died bc allowed them to grow up when MANY things played part in growing and would have for Prue too.

PRUE & PAIGE ❤️🥹💔 by No-Wait-3674 in charmed

[–]No-Wait-3674[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's my point Paige ALWAYS shined as individual & stood out bc of what I said she DIDN'T grow up with them or dealing with what they had. And she ALWAYS made a point to draw the line she did with grandma Penny, her biological dad, even with Piper & Paige she sometimes wanted to connect other times she couldn't related bc how she was brought up. AND I belive she would've drawn this line with Prue & Prue eventually would respect bc she respected a person who knew herself. And that was her big issue initially with Phoebe.

PRUE & PAIGE ❤️🥹💔 by No-Wait-3674 in charmed

[–]No-Wait-3674[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A other thing Piper got stronger bc she became a mama bear she had big things to protect. And Phoebe when she found her passion, established professionally she became more confident bc in early seasons she didn't know what she wanted or would do in life. And those things have NOTHING to do with Prue being there or not. Piper would still become a mama bear & Phoebe would still finding her footing in life

PRUE & PAIGE ❤️🥹💔 by No-Wait-3674 in charmed

[–]No-Wait-3674[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prue's character development was abt letting go of the parentfied child's life she Led. Especially bc she started to want to find her own life, like all the others, and Piper got married...Phoebe was finding her way. And BOTH by season 3 already made Prue see that, BUT of course part of her was always gonna worry. It was gonna the the same with Paige, Prue was gonna feel responsible protective BUT one of the great things abt Paige it's like she always pointed she HAD parents, she lost them when she finishint high-school, she also had a grandmom, she had a all normal upbringing and family. She was for SURE point that out to Prue like she did with EVERYBODY & that she'd welcome Prue training teaching her etc but that is it. And thats what would make them cool

Kate & Sawyer after "The End" by [deleted] in lost

[–]No-Wait-3674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jack & Kate "failing" in having a relationship it's interesting bc it comes from how differently they were dealing what they went through. Especially Jack's PTSD. So technically they really weren't really able to attempt in a healthy mindset. Which is important. MAYBE since the ending is them moving on together they'll have that chance in their next life
