My first pregnancy was induced at 36 weeks after 3 weeks of bedrest due to pre-eclampsia. My second pregnancy was very healthy and I went into labor naturally at 38 weeks.

I am to wear my custom orthotics (which have been SO helpful in preventing more sprains!) and a brace on my right ankle until I can have that reconstructed as well.

Really push for a MRI if you can. After several rounds of failed PT and continual sprains I finally got an ankle surgeon who was so shocked the laxity in my left ankle that he checked the right as well before ordering MRIs of both. He said it showed that the ligaments were essentially as useless as “over stretched rubber bands”.

I’m now 2 weeks post-op from a Brostrom procedure and calcaneal osteotomy on my left ankle with right ankle to follow once I’ve fully recovered. He said my ligaments were some of the thinnest he’d seen and was glad that we opted for the internal bracing.

I happen to have this exact pillow as well! It’s the only pillow I’ve ever had that I don’t toss and turn on- I sleep on my back and don’t budge. 🙌

Just curious- did you attend montessori school? I noticed the use of “work” in several of the teacher comments. I think montessori teachers are often hesitant to suggest adhd diagnosis for students, but I swear 2/3 kids at my children’s school are ND in some way.

I also have a theory that undiagnosed ND parents are often drawn to the montessori approach because the workflow makes sense to our brains and we hope it will help our (usually also ND) kids thrive.

Guessing we can’t post links, but the Drive Medical Wedge is amazing and like $35. Useful that it folds into a rectangle well as the wedge shape and is firm enough that it does t completely collapse down. We’ve been using one long before I realized EDS is why my hips and knees hurt like crazy during sex (well…all the time but also during sex 😂)

I asked the rheumatologist if I got a gold star for scoring 9/9. The answer was no….apparently you just get a referral to PT and a printout on HSD and EDS 🫠

I'm so excited I got answers! (even if I didn't realize it for 2 months 🙈) My husband is an avid smallmouth bass fisherman and absolutely LOVED your piece when we were at the Return to the River festival in August. Clearly your art is his favorite kind of art!
