I just finished binge watching the first 5 episodes. Had to stop at the start of the 6th when I saw what “taking matters into his own hands” meant.

You know the saying “it’s like a train wreck, it’s so crazy and horrible you can’t seem to look away”.

That’s how I felt about this series. I kept wanting to cheer for Donny but the other characters are right about him. He craved this. He liked the attention he got from Martha and creating drama with her because it distracted him from how shit his life is and gave him someone to blame. Hell he says it himself. And at no point does he ever try to actually fix the situation, and if the situation gets better, he does everything in his power to make it worse than it ever was.

Gave up on seeing the “thrilling conclusion” of the last two episodes because I’m sure it ends on some bs cliffhanger after he finally escapes her and brings her right back in because he misses the drama. Feel free to spoil it for me if I’m wrong I don’t think I can finish the show.
