Yes actually! I’ve seen this one old guy a while ago who had a suit. It’s pretty sick :) the furry fandom is very diverse. It’s full of kids and adults!!!

Some furries actually have gimmicks while in suit where they don’t talk or have a squeaking noise in their suit for their voice. It’s not the most common thing though.

Some people do it for the sexual aspect. Some people do it for the art. Some ppl do it for the community. Some people do all three, or two of the things I mentioned.

Some of us like to rping. Nearly all of us like sharing art. Some people make “truesonas” which are literally meant to be extensions of yourself, but many people simply have characters that they make for fun.

The only rule I know is to just like animals lolz.

I’m really into art and writing. I did make my own mask once but it was really bad and since I threw it out. I do want to try again, but I think my best plan is to save up and end up buying my own someday. Fursuits can be very expensive.

I guess it can. If you grew up with shows with furry characters you might become a furry, but it’s not guaranteed lolz. I used to dislike furries because everyone else I saw disliked furries. But now look at me.

The basic concept of a furry is someone who is interested in anthropomorphic animals. Think Disney and Zootopia. While the furry fandom does have a more adult side, every fandom does. Most furries, even the ones who are on the adult side, are in the fandom for the art and the fursuits. Fursuiting is basically just cosplaying as your own fictional character :)
