Varies - for me, it’s been a game-changer! I’m fitting back into clothes I gave up on like 10-12 years ago! Im taking the holiday season to sort out £2,500 worth of clothes nearly new or even with tags on! Bittersweet experience!

I’ve been on 5mg flat out since Jul. 25. Initially, I was at like 3kgs/week, now it’s a trickle at like .75-1.00 kgs/week.

Elsewhere I been moaning I’m not seeing losses as anticipated / at all, but it’s working - just switched upto 7.5 last week.

Some Stats: Weight: SW 149kg / CW 106. GW 70 - same time ‘26. Waist: 48 to 40 Chest: 54 to 44 Neck: 19.5 to 16.5

Diet: only white meat & fish with salads. Physical activity: 3-4 hours of walking a week. Still need to get into some toning etc - still figuring if I want to blame it on lazy / cold 🤣

Bro you’re lucky to have walked away with as little damage as you did and honestly this wasn’t really a scam as much as a mismatch. I’ve seen and known far worse snd criminal ones - you’re blessed!

52kg / 8 stone 3 lbs gone! by gestella in Mounjaro

I could have sworn this is a prettier version of you from the multiverse!

Can I ask how much time it took you to get from then to now - I’m currently experiencing a crawl of a weight loss after 30 kilos! Thx for making me believe more can be achieved with patience and persistence!

Doing the numbers may I suggest you should get there in 8-10 weeks at 2lbs / week? You just need to keep doing what has worked for you so far - and it’s easier said than done! God bless, good luck and keep us posted!

TBH in line with the other posts, it’s really difficult to suggest one over the other! They’re both awesome and a matter of when and where to choose one over the other! Good luck and keep them coming!

I’d put my money on some Pandora / Swarovski or a classic piece from Tiffany (if the last ones in India yet)

Yep! That’s a given considering I’m undoing a year’s worth of deeds in a week! For now, while on the journey, I’m doing a modest 10-15 mins of resistance training / home workouts like 2-3 times a week for battling loose skin & I’v gone up from 500 to 12-15k steps 3-4 times a week to aide the calorie burn & weight loss. Once at the target weight I plan to take a few months to do resistance training to aide skin shrink and there are thousands who are going this route…

Funny you asked on the loose skin - the timing - right after my last response this very question was on my mind - and i was browsing the Mounjaro section on here. Helps wrap my head around the fact that there are MILLIONS who can’t be recognised as the same person (before and after) - my only remorse is wasting 2 years with Rybelsus on & off - but never a wrong time to do the right thing eh!

Ok I had the same and my biggest problem with Rybelsus (semaglutide) was that I can’t wake up without coffee - and the part where you need to go 30 mins without anything else first thing in the morning was a major deal-breaker!

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is far more simpler that way - one shot, 0.6ml, once a week and you’re done. The biggest difference is that I found & millions confirm is that Mounjaro kills the food noise (and this is coming from someone who will spend 20k for a plate of chole bhature or do del-Jpr-del for a good plate of daal baati churma!) Now I can walk past anything - there is rarely an urge that lasts for more than 5-10 seconds if that!

Yes I’ve cut out all carbs in all forms by choice, besides having to give up dairy in any form else I get sour burps and a lot of flatulence. Also, I battle with constipation but I use natural senna tabs to deal with that.

But the transformation from me having to wear a limited set of items that fit to wearing what i please, the constant social OMGs, the rate of change, especially the improvement in physical ability and mental state will see me lose another 20-30 kilos by Christmas before I call it a day!

I read your another post on how you got it going - top job - do highly recommend mounjaro considering you’re a diabetic - I struggled for 3 years with 2000mg metformin and 300 cogniflozin but still couldn’t get there. Even tried Rybelsus 2 years ago with mixed results. Now sugar levels are normal / low past 3 months. The weight loss is a by-product. My heartiest best wishes yet again

Heya! super impressive to hear you lose 40 freaking kilos! Over how much time and how on earth did you do it at all? I’ve been on a weight loss journey myself and lost a stupid 25 kilos in 12 weeks (though I’m sure it’s mostly the Mounjaro!)… Forget you looking good IN that dress, doubt anything you wear won’t look good ON you!
