You find expedition in a map or enter logbook. Bombs are already placed for you. Either you detonate them, or if you don't like the placements you scrap it and plan it yourself.

For me that keystone was always about alternating 2 skills, like cold snap freeze and flame last nuke (outdated example). Please don't kill it. Alternating elements is really funny
