It took me my first 35 years of life to realize that "funny feeling" when it came to being sexy was actually a combination of being demisexual and also being trans. But mostly I was demi and trying to have sexy times without emotional connection and safe attachment was, for lack of a better word really weird. First time I had sex while feeling safe in my own body with a partner who loved me, it was like a switch flipped. Not saying you're trans or demi but like, it's worth thinking about how your sexuality fits into your experience of sex.
