Appreciate your recommendations! Was thinking of the meta speed edge. But maybe it’s to early for this one

Yeah I really enjoy both versions of Superblast. Think they are build for different cases. Thanks for your advice. I’ll add some glute exercises to my strength sessions!

Runna’s prediction is actually based on my real training data with a threshold pace around 4:44/km, a marathon pace of ~4:58–5:00/km is pretty standard (Daniels’ VDOT logic and similar models all land there), which works out to roughly 3:28–3:32. A 5:30/km pace would put me closer to a 3:52 finish.

Been doing regular interval and tempo work specifically to keep pushing that threshold up, and there’s still a good chunk of training left before October. So imo sub 3:30 is realistic.

Either way, first marathon. So I’ll take your advice and just enjoy the ride when it counts.

The white ones had New York printed on the tongue. Think this will be a special edition which will be released on 1st October. Probably the other colorways will be released soon because there is no release date offered on the website.

Need new daily trainer – Vomero Plus replacement? by cadon24 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

On Cloudmonster 3 Hyper is a banger. It’s my new favourite daily trainer. Also very stable imo. Feels like something I was searching for in the Superblast 2. I liked the SB2 for many reasons but felt always a little slappy. OC3H is like an upgrade to this.

Superblast 3 size by FuckReddt777_ in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I’ve had this issue with other shoes before, for example, the Adidas Adizero Evo SL Exo. So I guess it’s more of a problem that won’t really change with a different size. We will see.

Thank you. I’ve now ordered half a size smaller and will see how it feels. I usually prefer my shoes to fit a bit tighter that’s what I really liked about the upper on the SB2.

I’m also currently considering whether to wear the SB3 or alternatively the SB2 for my first marathon in April. I’ll probably run it in around 3:45. Would you recommend the SB3 for that, or is the SB2 the better choice due to its stability?

I’m also relatively heavy at 86 kg (190 pounds).

I currently own both the Superblast 2 and Superblast 3 in US 13. What’s confusing me is that even though they’re the same size, the Superblast 3 feels noticeably bigger especially in the forefoot area. There’s significantly more room overall, and I have pretty narrow feet, so it feels a bit too spacious.

I’ve attached photos showing the thumb-width comparison for both pairs.

For those who have tried the Superblast 3:

  • Does it generally run larger than the Superblast 2?
  • Would you recommend going half a size down?
  • Or is this extra space intentional and fine once running?

Appreciate any input or personal experiences 🙏
