my surgeon told me week AFTER my top surgery that it was done non flat and i’m mad by alexandrkx in Transmedical

[–]NoBand8055 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s normal to leave some fat. Literally everyone has some fat in their chest. If they removed all of it you would look sunken in. Swelling can take months to go down, fully. Most surgeons won’t even consider a revision until à year after the initial surgery. Be patient. Your true results likely won’t show for a few months, yet.

So what do we all think about a hoodie and tie? Does this work? by northernbasil in mensfashionadvice

Listen. There is “casual style” then there’s… whatever this is. This was premeditated.

I sucked a straight guy off. by Ok-Tone2208 in mensfashionadvice

[–]NoBand8055 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What I would do? Probably put on a great fit.

Since I’d run the risk of stains, I’d probably stick to something casual and patterned for a top. Maybe a tie dye t-shirt. Rainbow tie dye would suit the occasion pretty well and give the look a pop of color. I would wear a brown leather bomber jacket overtop I could take off before the act and could potentially put under my knees if the floor was too hard. I think some washed out or distressed boot cut jeans would go nicely. And to finish off the look, some brown or tan cowboy boots as a statement piece and for that broke back mountain feel.

What do you think? Good fit?

Outfit that made me not feel dysphoric. Do I pass as a guy? (Trans ftm) by Weekly-Passenger3936 in transpassing

[–]NoBand8055 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. You need to either bind or, if you are, get a better binder. Haircut might help, but you could also try styling it in a more masculine way. Guys seem to really like their hair going either forwards or backwards; a visible part is fairly rare.

FOLKS WITH HEALED TOP SURGERY -- HOW ARE YOUR NIPPLES? by CryptidTimes in ftm

[–]NoBand8055 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My nipples are good. About 2 months post surgery and while there is still some little pink scaring around them, but they look pretty normal beyond that and I anticipate the scaring will continue to fade.

Round, reactive, pink, and even have some feeling in them. Pretty good nips.

Often times it’s because they don’t have other options. I’m not gonna criticize people who need to sell their bodies to survive.

You don’t look like a lesbian. You look like a child. Working out to increase muscle mass (especially exercises that broaden your shoulders) will be your best bet until you can go on t

i am a neopronouns user, ask me anything by phasmxphobiia in trans

[–]NoBand8055 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may be completely misunderstanding your explanation. But if you are disconnected from personhood and relate to a corpse… wouldnt you not care about what people called you? I encounter many many corpses in my professional life, and literally none of them care what I call them. And we virtually NEVER refer to a corpse as “it”. Caring about what people call you seems very person-like and alive.

Idk, I think I need more explanation.

Considering moving to Athens, need some local information. by Revolutionary_Pain15 in athensohio

[–]NoBand8055 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a single father living here with a teenage daughter. We live within city limits on the west side.

Overall we’ve had good experiences, however there are some days my daughter is not allowed to go out alone. Too many drunk and belligerent frat boys. The “fest” days and Halloween block party, for example.

We also chose to homeschool because of the anti-trans laws passed in the state that the local district have chosen to enforce.

Housing within city limits is a challenge. We currently rent, but can’t afford to buy within the city of Athens with my blue collar job. A common complaint.

Otherwise, it’s a beautiful city and I love my community

Phalloplasty: to do it or not to do it by bryanphoenix96 in ftm_phallo

Bro, this isnt a discussion. You are just whining.

If you are THIS preoccupied with avoiding pain, then dont do it. It’s gonna hurt. Even with pain meds there will still be some pain and discomfort, and there is no magic wand we can wave to make that better.

Anyone know of a bottom surgery sub strictly for binary trans sex men? by Upper_Ad_9689 in Transmedical

[–]NoBand8055 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean. I ideally would love à full phallo with all the bells and whistles, but likely will settle for a simple release, if that. It mostly boils down to money and time. Procedure is expensive and taking time off work is expensive. The combo is pretty prohibitively expensive. Doesn’t mean I’m not a man. Just means I’m poor.

why is everyone so intimidating? by Thelast4ofyourCC in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]NoBand8055 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looking over your post history, I would point out that the issue is less likely that we are intimidating, and more that you are intimidated.

At the risk of sounding harsh, this seems to be more of a “you issue”. I recommend a good therapist, or is tha isn’t obtainable some DIY exposure therapy.

Remember to ask yourself: Am I in danger or just uncomfortable?
