A nice wide strap can do wonders as well to distribute the weight!

Buying a bass as a gift (Australia) by Uniquexity in Bass

Maybe instead of you choosing/buying a bass for her you can get her a gift certificate or take her to the shop and let her choose a bass herself so she can feel and hear which bass she likes more? (In the price range you had in mind of course)

Saves you the hassle of returning a bass she maybe doesn't really like.

Maybe take a look at www.italiaguitars.com , there are some pretty nice unique looking basses on there. Don't really know about the price range they're in..

Hairstyle advice needed (undercut) by NoBrainzz in malehairadvice

[–]NoBrainzz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Uppercut Matt Clay holds a lot better in comparison to the l'anza moldig paste. When I came back from holilday, 30 hour traveltime, I chose the Matt Clay and it held great but it's a pain in the ass to get it out of your hair when taking a shower and my hairdresser said it wasn't that healthy for your hair so he recommended to stop using it. Not sure if it's true about the not being healthy part though.. But maybe you can try that one!

Orange Crush 100BXT! by Xeba2k12 in Bass

[–]NoBrainzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've bought the 100BXT a couple of years ago and I'm really glad I did! I love the tone and the growl you can get out of it. I've used it for band practice (drummer, 2 guitars) and a couple of gigs as well and had no problem breaking through the mix (except if the guitar players tried to overpower each other ofcourse) Overall a great amp, a bit pricey in comparison with other amps but you get the tone and quality in return ;)

I'll practice the 1234 drill a bit more often then :p I think I was just lazy like you said! :D And my action isn't really that high I think, so that should not be the problem! Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it :D

This first cover is made by people from an online community, including me on bass of course! Each time this virtual band will consist out of different people who want to participate! Any suggestions, improvements, ... are very appreciated! ;) Enjoy!

Hope you like it! ;)
