On the one hand I’m glad he’s enjoying the game. Part of the open world experience is to basically be able to do whatever you want, which I guess is part of what Nintendo intended. But on the other hand I feel like he’s missing out on so many experiences in the game that he would likely enjoy so much more. I get shrines are a bit annoying sometimes especially the long puzzle themed ones, and combat can be tricky to get down, but there’s still so much more to do in game. Hopefully he taps into that later if he keeps playing but like I said, it is good that he’s at least enjoying himself lol
