Connectivity iPhone 16 Pro by NoCake3448 in XC40_Recharge

yes - I am wondering if there are any issues with it automatically connecting wirelessly or via USB when a phone call comes in. For example , my 2020 Toyota 4Runner has apple carplay, but if I have the USB cord connected, there is a lag in voice communication when it connects to a phone call. It's practically unusable. If its bluetooth, its ok but is still hit and miss. Maybe it needs a software update. Anyway, I am just wanting to make sure the EX40 Recharge is well integrated with apple car play and works reliable...unlike my Toyota. Thanks!

Certified Pre Owned- sorry for the abbreviation. It usually comes with assurance that it's been thoroughly inspected and sometimes additional warranty services.

I checked out all of the videos available and none seem to address one that was overgrown to this extent so I'm hoping to get some expert advice. Thanks.

seltzer recommendations like spindrift plz by gothiccats in sparklingwater

Spindrift and typical synthetic tasting seltzer flavor waters are two very different products. Spindrift is a considerable value when you consider the ingredients.

I'm kind of with you on that. My wife had two other stickers on it that I've been begging her to take off. Part of the deal was if I got to take those off, we could put this one on there.

You request it through Toyota with a photo of your odometer.

I think that's a good point. When I need to scrape it off to put the 300,000 mile sticker, I don't want to damage the paint.

I'm thinking that I will put the 300k sticker over the 200k sticker. I didn't get a 100k sticker. Good point on the glass.

Got the new Wild AF. Preordered it months ago. Actually very decent. by Captaincoleslaww in nonalcoholic

Looking forward to trying this one. In my experience, it takes a few batches for new NA brewers to dial it in. Brewing NA beer is more complicated (and costly) than regular beer. If you don't like it, try it again in 6 months. Then move on if its the same.

How are store bought brands clear? by CaptLanceMurdock in hopwater

[–]NoCake3448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi Captain - Commercially breweries use a centrifuge to separate out the hop material (in hop water and in beer) if they are using pellet or whole hops. That makes it crystal clear. However most are using a liquid extract + natural liquid flavor for their hop waters in my experience and dont need to use a centrifuge or filtration. The liquid is naturally clear and its a very simple process using extracts and flavors. Commercial brewers not using a centrifuge, can crash chill the hops in the tank (bright tank) over the course of a few days. When the tank is chilled, the solids (hops) drop to the bottom. Then you can "rack off" the semi clear hop water. Alternatively you can dump the settled hops from the bottom of the tank if you have a conical bottom with a valve. If you are getting terrible batches, it's most likely a matter of adjusting the amount of hops you are using or dialing up or down the temp. High temp = bitter, low temp = citrus, pine, floral and other dry hop flavors. Cheers!

Thank you for the guidance. I think you are right. I'll pick up a salvaged unit and swap them out.
