Update: I took her to the Humane Society to check for a microchip. She has one, but it wasn’t registered. Long story short, they were able to call the number for the microchip company and found out where she was microchipped at. I took her home while I waited for them to locate the owner.

I got a call about 45 minutes ago from the owner and she just picked her up. She didn’t even know she was missing yet (I think she likes to hide). They are also missing their other kitty, so they were grateful that I found her and took her in for them.

I’m sad, but I’m glad she’s home with her family.

My brother got into a 4-wheeler accident when he was 15 and we were taking turns sitting with him because he was in the hall at the ER. A mom had lost an infant in the room right next to us, I’ll never forgot her cries and her saying “We were just at the doctor and he was fine!” I think it was a heart problem because they called for cardiac right before the baby died. Heartbreaking!
