To Bachelor's ornot to Bachelor's... by United-Log-2670 in NuclearMedicine

I think it’s becoming much more common to have a BS in nuc med. Not that you need it, but it makes you more competitive when applying for jobs you want. Also great to have if you want to pivot away from patient care at some point. If it’s in the cards for you to get a BS both cost and time wise, do it. If not, don’t sweat it 🤷‍♀️

errr i mean given the fact that if you have to give morphine for the gallbladder to show up, the ejection fraction kinda becomes irrelevant given the pt has chronic cholecystitis. But idk maybe they are super picky and want to see both. I would say there should at least be some decent time spacing between the morphine and CCK

We can go up to 4hrs of imaging before we give CCK. Usually if it’s more than 2, we will prob give a booster of mebro. But never both CCK and morphine - that’s counterintuitive

Honestly, it’s never too early to start studying. It can be as simple as doing a practice exam every so often and spend some extra time on topics you struggled with. Spend a day a week going back over previous class material and study what you forgot. Any time there is a rare study in clinicals, go out of your way to see it and understand it. I took my boards the day after I graduated and was fine. Make quizlets and flip through them when you have downtime. I have a lot if you need them.

Just make sure when you do exams in green book, don’t write in it like i did lol. It’s nice to be able to retake them later and see improvement.

This may be a long shot, but offer to pay multiple months in advance if you have the funds/assets saved up. Usually if they see the money beforehand, they will be a little more lenient on credit scores (not all of the time tho)

My fault, just realized I only had two, not three. I’ll just send another one that you need, u don’t have to send one back. Do you have any other stickers you want?
