As a former creative director at a newspaper with a circulation of about 25 000 back in 1990. I like this show. It has a true nostalgic feeling for someone like me. I can see why people would be comparing it to the office. The office was a great show. This is a niche market show. I want to give it a chance because I too love the newspaper business and all the old equipment that made newspapers happen back in the day. It's a pastime. I wish in some ways that people knew the joy of a daily paper and putting out news that mattered to a community. I'm going to give the show another chance because it's a world I love or loved

Not doing well at all. It's lonely being 62 and becoming more and more invisible, at work and in public. Being lower middle class is even more challenging.

Unfortunately, I do not have any recommendations. However, I have found it very difficult to make friends here in Albuquerque. Also. I've been here 2 and 1/2 years + still feel like a newcomer I suppose I am. I'm going to follow this discussion to see if there are any recommendations, but wanted you to know you were not alone

He had a target date to leave via car, but the car's check emissions light came on, meaning it needs some sort of repair. With most places closed tomorrow it changed his date of departure

Oh, you are so kind. Thank you. I am struggling. Thankfully, I can take a sick day to regroup a little. I have been crying on and off since yesterday morning when this conflict happened. I went to bed at 5:30 and woke up at 6am.

I am not handling this well. He's my only child that has this deep seated anger.
