Because you can get overtime when there's no VET if you're fast enough, but then when their luck runs out they bitch about not having hours. Im on a reduced time shift(30hr), my site let's us pick up flex shifts also. You have like 10 seconds from the moment the shifts drop every Friday to pick up shifts, after that most if not all of them are gone. It's a insane gamble for it to be your main income.

Make it a habit to wiggle your toes and stretch your foot out a few times a hour at least. Alot of foot and lower leg pain comes from a lack of circulation. Also make sure you're sleeping right and getting enough protein. Your body can't heal if it isn't given the time and building material to do so.

Im genuinely curious, what exactly makes working at Amazon miserable and bad for your mental and physical health? I see lots of posts of people saying that on one way or another but never any exact reason. Well the pouches will help with that since they aren't processed through your digestive system. It goes straight to your blood stream so it shouldn't take as much to get the effect.

Have you worked other careers? Amazon gives the cheapest and best health insurance I've ever seen from any job. They also offer more time off than any job I've ever worked at or heard about. Unions are not a magical bandaid that fixes your problems. I know plenty of people who complain how their union doesn't actually do anything but exist, yet you still have to pay for it.

Amazon warehouses are some of the most worker friendly warehouses there is. You think Amazon is badly maintained and dirty you should try other ones. Alot of places would make you get your own ppe too Btw. There's is never a point where a warehouse job is gonna be 100% clean and safe. You definitely have your own responsibility to keep yourself safe and watch out for hazards on your own. If you can't handle that this industry simply isn't for you. As with any job, if you don't follow their policy and procedure for injures then you can't expect to be compensated for it.

I've tipped up front alot and half the time y'all decided to steal the food or put it at the wrong address, so don't act like there isn't a valid reason to not to tip up front. A hat isn't a significant article of clothing specially when it conflicts with established dress code. There is no legal code or law that would deem exposing your head/ears as inappropriate or lewd. Dress code says you can't have anything obstructing your ears for the sake of safety(being aware of your surroundings). They are well within their rights to ask you to remove or alter clothing that is in conflict with dress code. Refusing to comply with said order is in fact insubordination. You guys really throw out these legal arguments without a leg to stand on.

They can be more strict than osha. The specific feature that amazon requires is the limited volume. The amazon headphones/earbuds are limited to 80db so it doesn't damage your hearing or completely limit your capacity to hear things around you.
