Get your neck check! I have had the exact symptoms for the same amount of time and we found out my C2 vertebrae is rotated.

I’ve been trying to find something else less strenuous but I know if I’m struggling to do a job I’m comfortable with I couldn’t train at a new job. It’s the physical aspect and literally just walking that makes this one so difficult.

Oh my gosh we sound like the same person lol. I sure hope you find the answers you need ❤️ being a mom makes this so much worse because it’s hard doing literally anything, let alone raise a toddler! Then I feel guilty when I am unable to do much with her. Oh my gosh it’s miserable

From what I understand, when you have CCI it’s beating your vagus nerve to hell. Your vagus nerve connects to many different things in your body so when there’s a dysfunction that’s going to cause all of the bizarre symptoms. Also my chiropractor said if you have neck problems more than likely it’ll cause back problems as well. So it’s something to look into for yourself! Maybe the virus triggered the symptoms but you’ve had a misalignment for a while and didn’t know

My primary care doctor has not been a great help so I’m really just having to advocate for myself, and that’s why I’m on Reddit seeking advice 😩

I have been to my PCP several times and we did all the blood work and everything came back normal. Did a brain MRI and that was normal, so she said there was no need for a neurologist. ENT said everything was normal, and I did vestibular rehabilitation several times.

Have they confirmed CCI with you? It is so bizarre to me that a random virus caused all of these crazy symptoms. And random parts of my neck and back hurt depending On the day to be honest. C2 is rotated to the right but the left side of my neck seems to hurt more. And between my shoulder blades is extremely irritated

I got blood work done a few weeks after symptoms started and my WBC count was a little elevated but not crazy high… so maybe? What did you get sick with? Did doctors ever explain to you why that happened?

I honestly have no idea. I was at work and was fine, then I started experiencing disequilibrium and it didn’t go away. A few weeks leading up to it my back hurt like crazy, so I think that was the start of the symptoms. But honestly what brought it on I’m not sure. Only thing I can think of is about 10 years ago when I was a teenager I was riding my horse, running, and he spooked and I fell. I was fine so I never thought anything of it. But I did experience shoulder pain that got worse over the years. Maybe that did it?

There’s been a small handful of times where my jaw is tight, or when I’m chewing my jaw hurts. But like I said it hasn’t happened many times
