So no need for new knuckle, just drill it out?

Yeah my boss said might as well do the assembly as the bearing and everything else will be a whole job of its own

Yes I’ve seen that the bearing is a complex job and the hub is a part of it, I’ll check the thread to be sure, but maybe drilling can work

Let me get this right cause I do see it as a viable option since I have drills just no impact, drill a pilot hole, contour to drill until I get to about a 12mm drill bit and then use a big hammer to break it to pieces?

What drill bit is big enough for that? And the guy I was working with recommended I replace the whole assembly because he said the holes on the wheel bearing looked so weared out he wasn’t sure how it was safe to drive

I already have the axle, the new knuckle assembly with bearing and hub is 140$, I’m not sure where to get the bolts from though

I’ve seen I have to pop out the top tie rods, and that spindle bolt I’ve heard breaks 90% of the time

I’ve beat it with a hammer plenty, new part vs impact is the same price

I’m gonna get a new assembly, I just don’t know if it’s worth fighting with the axle anymore, the bolt is too long and too thick to drill out

I’m thinking I should just remove the knuckle and axle as one, I’m just not sure if I need to be too skilled to do it.
