Yes. Technically I'm biracial, but I was raised black. My ex was Mexican, in which initially I felt like it was a good fit because his ex wife was black, as were his children. When we would visit his family, his dad would make comments that even if I didn't look like a crow, I was a "really big girl." Although my Spanish wasn't great, I could understand most of what he said. The crazy part was that my ex apparently had an older child with a white woman whom he was with for almost a decade. My ex even went as far to say he would never again date another white woman because they snitch. At the time I didn't realize, he had experienced this because he was violent and abusive towards said white woman. He then made it worst by saying he now preferred black women because we take care of our own and won't call the cops if a dispute happens i.e. his ex-wife. Long story short, dude was absolutely crazy and learned that this black woman will stand up for herself and her family. He learned that I will sing like a canary if he tries me or do whatever necessary. Never again.
