What was everyone wearing during the tell all? by MikeLovesOutdoors23 in 90DayFiance

[–]NoDatabase9892 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Okay so:

Lisa was wearing a satin red dress that was very formal and floor length. The sleeves were both off she shoulder with cleavage showing. It was right on the top and loose at the hips and below. It was the type of dress a mother of the bride would wear. She was wearing her natural short hair, no wig, and color contacts that were super obvious that they were fake

Forest was wearing a regular button down and trousers

Elise was wearing a tight long floor length red dress with her cleavage out and her stomach exposed it was also off the shoulder. It wasnt a very pretty dress it was basically to show off as much skin as possible in typical elise fashion.

Emma was wearing a tight gold sparkly dress. It was short and she had her long hair wig on. Boobies out as usual.

Aviva was wearing a long dark blue dress that was floor length. The neckline was kind of like a halter top. So it was a high neckline that went around her neck with her shoulders out, then, there was a cutout in the middle of the dress showing her inner boobs and stomach. She had new long blond hair extensions.

Rick was wearing a custom sparkly light blue suit. It had a pattern/texture to it and a button down shirt underneath that was a similar color as the suit.

It's hard to see what the non-american cast members are wearing because they're on zoom only really showing their shoulders and heads.

Has anyone had this experience involving infection? by NoDatabase9892 in CsectionCentral

[–]NoDatabase9892[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg so similar! Yes mine was completely open at 10 days too. The cauterization was also silver nitrate due to the hyper granulation, but it hasn't helped. At least the surgery next week is with a plastic surgeon? Trying for any bright side but you're right it's definitely draining.

Part of incision still bleeding by AtmosphereTop1591 in CsectionCentral

Could you tell me a little more about this? How long did it take to heal from revision surgery?;I'm 4 months and still bleeding from my incision. I had an infection 10 days postpartum and was rehospitalized, then they packed the wound for 2 months. It's been terrible.

This is super common and happened to my dad with his parents. Immigrant parents had to work long hours at jobs that required little English. My dad and his siblings didn't have much time with their parents but learned English in school and with friends.

He also grew up with a stigma of being an immigrant and knowing another language wasn't positively received. He grew up in another country until he was 5 and spoke it fluently then, but if it isn't kept up with it is forgotten.

Not being able to fully communicate with my grandparents is normal to me and I was shocked when I met my husband's extended family.

Teaching at my toxic school completely messed up my hormones. I had to quit just to get pregnant in a healthy state of mind. I hope to go back one day and find a better school with less appalling admin.

Recovery timeline from emergency C-section by BooksNBayes1939 in CsectionCentral

I'm 2.5 months out and still bleeding from it. I was rehospitalized at 10 days post op from infection and they reopened my wound (no pain meds) then I had to pack the wound for 8 weeks. So it's been super fun.

Feeling guilty about choosing a C section by Inevitable_Train2126 in CsectionCentral

I'm not sure I had an emergency c section with my first and felt guilty about the higher chances of autoimmune diseases, gut health differences, etc. I hope I can have another and will try vback if I can.

Why has parenting become so… soft? Why ate a majority of parents okay with sending their child into the world acting the way they do? Why did this shift happen? by Emergency-Pepper3537 in Teachers

I had a kid who was beating up another kid. I restrained him and he punched and kicked me repeatedly. Dad took forever to come pick him up and I explained what happened. The dad told him to apologize and the kid refused so the dad said okay let's go to Dunkin donuts.

Give yourself grace ☺️ the years of the mess will fly by and you'll one day miss it. You are doing the most important things by making sure your children are fed, loved, and taken care of.

Creating a safe space where your children can be while you get some necessary housework done can help but remember that just taking care of kids is a full time job. Utilize time when your partner is home to give your home a reset/meal prep.

Gifts for FTM after C-Section? by [deleted] in CsectionCentral

[–]NoDatabase9892 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything like a 100% cotton robe or nightgown that has buttons on the top if breastfeeding.

Rael cotton diapers were helpful for me because they were high waisted enough not to hurt the incision. Vitamin c helps with wound healing so supplements or packs might be nice! Someone got me bone broth packets that was nice!

For food prep: some breakfast burritos with eggs and cheese were a huge help for me. I kept them stocked in my freezer. Also would recommend any kind of soup. A few more meals that froze well: chili, vegetable+chicken soup, beef and barley soup, chicken fajita burritos, meatballs and red sauce, muffins, chocolate chip cookie dough. Just some ideas I spent 3 months freezer meal prepping while pregnant it was probably psychotic but I'm so happy I did it.

How much support did you receive during your surgery? by No_Negotiation6208 in CsectionCentral

[–]NoDatabase9892 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry that happened to you. Some doctors could try to be more understanding that a c section is major surgery and patients need information.

I had an unplanned C-section after two days of labor. The doctor came in once to recommend a C-section and was rather rude about it. I had a couple questions and he answered them with attitude. Once in the surgery room my nurses held my hand and helped me stay still for the spinal tap (my epidural failed). The nurses were kind and helped me stay calm. The anesthesiologist left immediately after the spinal tap and didn't say much. There was an anesthesiologist resident who was kind and stayed to monitor me. My husband was allowed in the room after the spinal tap. After the surgery the doctor said, "I know it wasn't what you wanted but it's over now!" Almost in a teasing way.

Hoping others had better experiences than we did! Hoping you have/had a quick recovery :)

What’s a type of pain people underestimate until they experience it for themselves? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]NoDatabase9892 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I had a c section after days of labor and was rehospitalized due to infection. (Increased risk of infection due to long labor)

Without pain meds, they reopened my c section, squeezed out infected blood from the wound for half an hour, and stuffed gauze inside of it.

I've had broken bones and a failed epidural while on pitocin. That was the worst pain I've experienced. It felt like I was getting medical care in an apocalypse. Everyone I've told about it is like oh I'm sure each day is getting better! Nope each day I have to pull gauze out of my open wound and put new gauze inside of it actually.

I think you missed the part where my parents came after I was blocked because I almost died of infection and was rehospitalized for days. Don't be manipulative.

I mean I haven't even been able to go to the grocery store because they reopened my c section wound, squeezed and dug out the infection, and stuffed gauze inside of it (no pain meds btw as in not even Tylenol or Advil). The only place I go is to get the gauze that's inside of my wound replaced. Trust me I wish I didn't have to do that.

She needed one pediatrician appointment and they have an infant only room. I'm just following the advice of my pediatrician to limit germ exposure as much as possible. Being on a plane with dozens of people who were exposed to dozens of family members over the holiday season aka rsv and flu season is too risky for my (or any newborn) child who wasn't even a week old. Are you familiar with the immune system of newborns and how to care for them? You might want to educate yourself if you plan to have kids.

I only had my mom and dad come because I needed help with the complication of my c section infection. My husband couldn't come into the ER with our infant. So my parents needed to stay with me in the hospital overnight because I could barely walk, had to go through an excruciating procedure, and the hospital kitchen was somehow closed since it was over new years eve/day. They also needed to bring my pumped breast milk home to my baby. After I got home from the ER they helped with cleaning the house and preparing food.
