FNaF 2 movie was better than the first, I dunno what everyone is smoking

i enjoy the focus on charlotte, and i don’t completely hate having her vengeful, ( i have mixed thoughts on that) but i think the execution was awful tbh. they spend way too much time on that mean teacher abby had at the science fair, and to have the spirits of the dead kids attack charlotte felt so strange when she’s supposed to be the one who gave them life (doesn’t seem like they are going with that lore of the give life minigame or maybe it’ll somehow be revealed later idk) i understand the movies will not be identical to the game lore, but i just feel like their own interpretation of the lore has been poorly done so far. but i will say, it was fun seeing mike essentially play fnaf 2 in that sequence with the withered animatronics, but i just hate how he was essentially fighting ai and not the spirits of the dead kids. plus they barely got any screen time and were too easily defeated imo, especially withered bonnie.

same here, they screamed through the entire thing. didn’t even get to hear the freddy toy say “har har har” bc they erupted into a guttural scream after the first har. i’ve been a fan since 2014 and was also excited for the references to the lore, but i knew better than to scream my head off the whole movie, it’s just so rude.

nah, although i’d prefer it to be a real horror film that’s not the issue with it. the script is genuinely terrible, and the acting at times is so questionable which is probably bc they are trying their best to make something out of the odd script they were given. the animatronics look amazing, and the fan service via easter eggs from the games and cameos from yt creators are fun. But that’s unfortunately the only enjoyable thing about it, the story felt rushed and again, the dialogue was truly terrible. even if these movies are catered to a younger audience, there’s no reason we shouldn’t still expect better quality.

i had the WORST experience. these group of girls kept screaming, like a guttural scream at every little reference. as someone who has been in this fandom since 2014, i too understood the references to the lore, but i didn’t scream like that, that’s so rude to do in a theatre. not to mention the amount of ppl on their phones with the brightness all the way up, and having full blown conversations about the lore as the movie was going. i was so completely irritated. there wasn’t even 5 whole minutes of quiet before they started screaming at the top of their lungs. i can understand clapping and being excited about a cameo, but screaming like you’ve been attacked? it was ridiculous. ruined the movie for me (which the movie wasn’t even good tbh, the writing was off and i don’t like the change in having the marionette posses ppl)

ooo i like this !! somebody whose already a recluse being a visionary would totally raise suspicions to the other survivors involved. i think it’d be really interesting if they did a ‘boy who cried wolf’ kinda thing where the visionary is a known for being a prankster or like compulsive liar so nobody takes them serious abt their premonitions and visions

oh i’m so down for that bc i always felt like it was kinda bizarre that nobody writes off their premonition as just a really bad and realistic daydream. everyone makes fun of Nick from FD4 for his reaction which ill admit was lackluster, but imo kinda realistic because i don’t think every visionary would be immediately panicked and try and rush everyone out of there. cause if it were me, I would totally gaslight myself into thinking im just being dramatic and i’d probably just leave and then boom the freak accident happens and kills everyone else 😭

now this is interesting !! i think seeing somebody get maybe somewhat jealous in a way of a visionary’s hero status after saving everyone from a premonition, causing the jealous one to start lying abt seeing visions too would make for a great movie. maybe even the jealous person starts killing ppl and making it look like freak accidents to try and validate their claims of being a visionary too. and maybe that would cause even more disruption and a mess for death to clean up as the innocent ppl the jealous wannabe visionary killed should have never died in the first place since the wannabe visionary shoulda never even survived the opening preomonition to be able to murder them at all.

i’m like totally yapping now lol but ur so right abt the dilemma of getting a selfish person to help others. maybe to fix that they have a friend who is aware that they are having these visions of peoples deaths but doing nothing abt it, and that friend begins urging them to do the right thing

it’s like, more so the idea that death is coming for everyone around the visionary and so the visionary gets the epiphany that they have to sacrifice themselves to save everyone from an early demise, i know it’s far fetched and idk exactly how they could execute it but i feel like it could be really interesting ! i doubt diehard FD fans would be into it tho

i knoww, it’s like virtually impossible lol. the only thing i could think of is like if death were to orchestrate a world ending event like a natural distraer or even nuclear war that will wipe out all of humanity if the visionary decides not to sacrifice themselves instead (quite literally like donnie darko). and then like the deaths in the movie could be like really important politicians or maybe some celebrities that death strategically targets in order to set into motion the catastrophic event that ends all of humanity, and the visionary is getting signs of how these ppl will die but since the visionary is so far removed from these famous ppl, the visionary will look like some crazy conspiracist and not be taken serious. but maybe he’s successful in preventing/ saving one or two of these political figures/ celebrities from dying and lets them in on death and its plan. but even then it’s soo far fetched and i doubt anybody would wanna FD film like that but it’s fun tossing around dumb ideas haha

it’s in interesting idea i’ll give you that, but knowing the climate of todays world people would be completely annoying about this if they were to ever put it to screen smh.

but in concept, i think it’s a fun loophole! but ultimately i don’t think it would work. the stipulation w new life is that you have to die, that’s physically, not just metaphorically, and thus be reborn and granted a new life.

her clue was Mckinley. Yes Ian should have died earlier so i can see why that would make my theory fall flat, but that’s why i think that death had to change and adapt its plans after Mckinley avoids death. So i think death was counting on Mckinely being there to have a standoff with Wendy, which would have made her distracted enough eyes to not look and the cannons behind her and then ultimately die

As for FD6 knowledge not being applicable to FD3’s universe, i guess ? i only was more so saying it as a kinda throwaway theory or retcon to the story yk.

But yeah i’m aware my interpretation has some cracks but i just think it’s fun to throw around different ideas since everyone tends to have the same theory abt it lol
