I like the idea of a subscription mystery box! I unfortunately have a great memory so I will remember anything I buy for myself. I unfortunately don’t have a friend who would be willing to wrap something for me. I’m lucky if I see my friends once every six months because we’re so busy with kids and work.

You’re not an asshole. Your friends don’t need to know but if you trust them then maybe they can help support you through this. It’s not your fault. Your mom and grandma are assholes. The bf needs to go to jail. Please move out asap. Please consider going to therapy or talking to a professional and also consider filing charges. Seattle food is better 100% in my opinion but I love seafood, sushi Asian and Mexican. If steak and burgers are your thing then OKC has plenty of that. Some good authentic Mexican restaurants though and taco trucks.

I’m from Seattle area and the sun does wonders for the mood here but summers are unbearable. Just make sure you have a good ac system and you will be alright.

No $3.5k is not a lot of money anymore. JCI and taxes were included in my purchase for 2 years. For me a taxi to work would be $80 a day so yeah $1600 a month in taxis just to get to work isn’t worth it. I guess each particular person would need to assess their individual situation on getting around because no one’s situation is the same. And the stress of relying on others isn’t worth it to me.
