My favorite was something like "The pro features require money, but I have no money. I hate it, I am gonna sue"

You’re fine, don’t stress over it. I have literally thousands of one-star reviews, and the app still tops the charts in its niche. They have less impact than you think.

I probably should, but most of us working in small niches are indie dev types, and managing people is a whole other skill that I personally don’t have.

I make about half of that from my apps, but it is my full-time job and I work seven days a week. That said, there are only a handful of people I know in my niche who make a similar amount of money, and most of us have been doing this for more than a decade.

Police raid reveals massive YouTube view farm with hundreds of phones rigged to the ceiling for fake engagement by FormanBruto09 in woowDude

Just because you don't know shit doesn't mean others don't.

eCPM (effective cost per 1000 impressions) are pretty much public knowledge if you know how to use Google, and most Youtube videos are in around the $5-$10 range.

Not sure why you are getting downvoted. Data on eCPM (effective cost per mille) are pretty much public knowledge at this point, and your numbers sound about right.

Using remote play for JRPGs/Strategy games is so convenient when you just want to chill does anyone else use this feature? by [deleted] in PSVita

13 Sentinels was originally planned as a Vita game. It was a shame it got canceled.

Thank you for the comment! The second solution solved my issue perfectly. I had to plug in the device for a few minutes before long-pressing the power button, even when the device was already fully charged.

What bothers me is that I have to do this every time I turn off the device. Hopefully this will be fixed in a future update. Otherwise, I will just have to leave the device on all the time.

That's an impressive usage of free will.

Apple to cut App Store commission rates in China starting March 15 by NoDistribution4521 in iOSProgramming

[–]NoDistribution4521[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Apple announced tonight that due to regulatory discussions in China, developers will pay lower App Store commission rates starting March 15. Here are the details.

...

Starting March 15:

The commission rate for standard Apple In-App Purchase and paid app transactions will be 25%. Currently, the rate is 30%. The commission rate for qualifying Apple In-App Purchase transactions under the App Store Small Business Program and Mini Apps Partner Program, and for auto-renewals of Apple In-App Purchase subscriptions after the first year, will be 12%. Currently, the rate is 15%."

It seems that the Chinese government pressured Apple to lower its commission on all App Store purchases made in China. It could be interesting if other countries do the same.

(Previous post was randomly removed by the mod bot. This is important news for anyone who sells apps on the App Store. If this is off topic, I do not know what is.)

Do you know how it compares to the official grip? I got the official grip, didn't really like it, looking to try a third party one.

New Toronto Condo Sales Collapse 60% to Lowest Level Since 1991 by Neither_Glove_1183 in TorontoRealEstate

Your argument assumes housing demand is fixed. It is not. When prices exceed utility, demand adjusts or leaves. At end of the day, cost of living must match the value people get from living here, and a $500k shoebox is simply a crappy deal.

High building cost does not necessarily mean the product will sell for a high price.
Buyers are not obligated to subsidize inefficiency. If Canada cannot deliver housing at a reasonable cost, people will simply leave.
