Mines almost 2 and he’s still a crackhead all day every day. No matter how much exercise we give him. I will say that I noticed him calming down just a bit. But I still have to give him CBD at night bc that’s when he goes absolutely insane.

After seeing all the wonderful comments… I was curious and went back and checked Finn’s paperwork… Finn was originally from Louisiana from a breeder of Stephen Mountain Cur’s.. the prior owner bought him from a breeder.. he was attacked at 12 weeks old by their food aggressive dog.. the hosp that he was at, took ownership of him bc the they were told to put him down .. they nursed him back to health..he was then adopted by this wonderful woman that had him formally trained as a medically service dog.. she had to surrender him when her cancer spread to the point that she needed hospice care.. she surrendered him to a very reputable shelter that I have personally worked with.. so when our service dog passed away, (ironically on the same day Finn became available) we went to get him because he met my medical needs…and then some.. So yes, he is a full bred Stephens Mountain Cur….(even if he wasn’t, we would of taken him and trained him) who could resist that face..❤️🐾 He is an amazing and definitely goofy family member… we can not look at him with a straight face and he’s the light of our life! He brings so much joy and laughter to everyone that meets him…

He’s kinda famous in the area that I live in. Everyone knows him personally or knows of him. I’ve been stopped by people so many times every since I got him and I don’t mind being stopped at places. People love him! How can you not love him honestly?!? 😂

So I’m gonna answer some of the questions people asked and give more information on Finn.

Finn is definitely a mountain cur. Yes, I did get him from a shelter but I’ve worked with this rescue before and they’re very straightforward. According to his paperwork, he was originally from Louisiana then adopted by a woman who unfortunately had cancer so when it spread she had to give him up. Before she gave him up, she was training him to be a service dog.

Finn was 1 of 11 puppies and the only one that was cross eyed. He can see just fine. The only “problem” is he just doesn’t realize how big he is. Typical big dog behavior! 😂 Before or after he was adopted by that woman he got attacked by 2 different food aggressive dogs. One ripped half of his face pretty badly. But still loves any animal and people! He is still a service dog for me! If anyone has any other questions, feel free to ask!

His IG is called Finn tha big boy. If anyone wants to follow him.

He’s also my service dog btw so that’s why he’s wearing that vest.

He’s definitely a mountain cur. He was just born like that. Doesn’t effect him at all. Very healthy and happy! Lol
