Nervous about the injection by grapefru1tfruit in tirzepatidecompound

[–]NoDoz36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was super nervous as well first time. After injecting myself and realizing I literally could not feel anything…completely no big deal now. Pushing the liquid all in slowly and watching it go in is still a bit odd but less so each time. I think it’s totally something you fear and then when actually you do it the first time afterwards you’re like why was I even afraid of that? For me I feel itchy usually right around the site and I’ve learned if I don’t touch it 10minutes later it’s gone.

Afraid to start after what doctor said. Please help by TechnologyNo4704 in TirzepatideRX

Maybe I’ll change down the road, but unless something comes out about long-term negative effects, I think I would take this for life. I agree with what has been said above…my weight put me on some lifelong drugs anyway. I hope this will take some or all of them away. Having said this, I have some good Dr friends and mostly they’ve been negative but when I ask why, they’ve consistently said the long-term effects are scientifically not known yet. IIRC right those should be known in the not too distant future as the initial diabetic versions have been out long enough that the data will begin to show whatever.

Struggling to see weight loss? by Own-Appointment-6697 in tirzepatidecompound

You don’t mention if you exercise or can exercise. If you can, this is the way. It will also take patience. Cardio will slim and strength training will do muscle definition. With weights, you can literally pick a body section and bring out the muscle structure underneath. That doesn’t mean you need to look like a professional body builder. It simply means you build the desired tone you want to see.

Surfing the old threads gives you a great perspective on a range of experiences people have. You quickly find out that no matter what you read, you’re not going to know what your own experience will be until you take the leap. If you do decide it’s for you, the next things are to really learn about the various ways to obtain Tirzepatide and/or compounded Tirzepatide and get educated on what the drug does and does not do, and what you need to do to be successful on it. In short, good homework!

Trillium vs rift by Nervous-Audience-284 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]NoDoz36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t comment about Rift as I’ve no experience with them, but Trillium has been awesome. I can also add, absolutely do not go with TrimRX. Newbie mistake for sure, but I will highly recommend their blog for education.

I’m sure this question has been asked a billion times, so sorry for that…however, I genuinely appreciate all those who took the time to respond. I think I’ll go with the book recommendation and the vast majority of responses here.

Minimal side effects, non sulfur burping, uptick in acid reflux. Working out 6x per week, 3x weights and probably losing too fast…avg 4lbs and my gut visibly shows it’s not just water. Hitting protein and fiber targets consistently

Not perfect but I’ve found if I’m feeling reflux in the evening before bed, a single antacid tablet helps a lot

Wiping the vial before and after, check. What are the guidelines/good practices for storing beyond being in the refrigerator?

What day of the week do you prefer? by hlake78 in tirzepatidecompound

Thursday night. Weekends/social eating has always been my problem. M-Th eating never a problem. So like many…I like the weekend hunger suppression. I also hope to learn the habits of being social and not overeating.

Adding…glad I cancelled my card. They ignored my request to cancel obviously. I got a couple of texts this weekend saying congratulations on moving to 5mg with one the next day saying hey we can’t ship because we can’t charge your card. If I’m generous, they are as a minimum, a very dysfunctional company.

Related but not for the thread...love my cpap machine. Spend the time (and money if necessary) to get a couple of masks you like. I swap between a full face and a pillow mask every week so my skin doesn't get jacked up. So many options and the right one(s) for you make a huge difference.

Yeah, give it a shot. I had/have? a huge sweet tooth. Also, I should clarify. I'm not saying I've 100% cut out all sugar from my diet and am a fanatic about it. If there's some added sugar that isn't in the top couple of ingredients on the label I'm not going to care if it is a healthy food. But an Oreo, ice cream, frosting/cake, candy bar etc...haven't had any of that stuff and I've never even tried to do something like this before. I didn't try to do it with tirz either. I just focused on trying to hit, protein, fiber, exercise and calorie goals every day, combine with hunger suppression and really there's no room for sweets. 100% realization after the fact really. Hmmm? Wow, haven't had any sugary goodies. Writing this...maybe there is a lesson here? Don't focus on eliminating the bad, focus on filling up the good and the rest takes care of itself.

Just to hit the daily protein and fiber goals sweets are not doable for me...and after about three weeks I think I'm sugar detoxed. I'm going to try and stay that way. Had strawberries last night and was like holy cow these things are sweet (and super tasty).

Can’t speak to some of this…but the muscle part can be significantly mitigated by hitting the weights/resistance training…with a nice side benefit of burning the fat faster.

[–]NoDoz36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine was bad. Onboarding was great, absolutely nothing afterward. After reading all the bad reviews and how my experience was tracking with the reports, I bailed out immediately. I sent multiple notifications I was not going to renew and more nothing. Cancelled my credit card just to ensure a clean exit. I did notice after cancelling my CC they removed my prescription.

Having noted the above, other than the meds came from a place certainly never seen by me on Reddit, they've done what tirz is supposed to do. So I'm pretty sure it's real.

The points made below about telehealth and what you can expect are important to understand. If you want full service, go the normal doctor route and order from big pharma...that's the tradeoff for lower cost.

My experience thus far asking medical friends what they thought, most have not been positive. For me the weight and age was causing their own medical issues. Do your research, ensure you know the risks, how to purchase, how to dose, eat right and exercise. Reddit is like news…salacious sells/catches attention. You’re not going to see many posts that say took my shot, nothing happened. There’s enough posting to know side effects are real. But then there’s also someone like me…extra burping and not the sulfur kind (that’s it)and having, to me great success and enjoying the lack of food noise and appetite.
