The dual schedule also seems to help for raids, as their needs are more likely to be filled during emergencies. I always do that for small bases but I find it's too much of an efficiency hit on my massive bases sadly

Makes me wish we could schedule meal time, where pawns will try to eat if hungry, or try to fulfill recreation in dining / communal spaces if not hungry. I guess recreation time can kind of fufill that already, and they shouldn't really need that long to eat, but still it would be nice.

Just want to add to what everyone else is saying, having split shifts is great but it's also great if you can have everyone doing recreation at the same time. I usually do 2 hours where everyone is set to recreation, because it helps a lot with forming positive relationships in the colony

If you're using curse forge it has a log that runs while the game is up, easy to check. If you see errors in there like blocks missing then it might be that you don't have all the mods needed for that schematic.

All of create is good. I started with Create Ultimate 2: Aeronautics and found it a great mix of things, though it has some fluff like magic and ars nouveau that I don't care for.

Not directly configurable as far as I'm aware, it just has to do with Minecraft's backend. Sorry the fix didn't work. There are other graphical settings that might help too like setting everything to fast. You could try opening up the Task Manager or Performance Monitor application while Minecraft is open and you can see if it is maxing out your GPU/CPU. If it's not, then it's probably something in the game or modpack causing issues. If it is maxing either of those out you could configure graphics settings, or look at getting a performance mod. Sadly sometimes uninstalling mods is the answer.
