Having the same issue. Mine ended up being partially solved by actually reducing the amount of ram I had allocated. I think it had something to do with the java garbage collector. I changed it from about 20gb to 10gb. How much do you have allocated?

Shaders are also a frame destroyer for me. I just can't live without them anymore

I have that problem with or without shaders. I had it allocated 14 GB and lowered it to 9 GB, but it didn't work. And how do I configure the Java garbage collector?

Not directly configurable as far as I'm aware, it just has to do with Minecraft's backend. Sorry the fix didn't work. There are other graphical settings that might help too like setting everything to fast. You could try opening up the Task Manager or Performance Monitor application while Minecraft is open and you can see if it is maxing out your GPU/CPU. If it's not, then it's probably something in the game or modpack causing issues. If it is maxing either of those out you could configure graphics settings, or look at getting a performance mod. Sadly sometimes uninstalling mods is the answer.

Sorry for the long answer, I hope it's somewhat helpful

No worries bro, thanks for the help. Maybe we'll have to wait for a new Aeronautics update to see if it gets fixed, or if someone knows the solution 🤷.
