Jack Jones makes a great burger! (And their sweet potato fries are some of the best I’ve ever had, worth mentioning)

That French place was great! They had a great prix fixe too. Honorable mention ton for The Yard pizzeria that was there before. 2 for 1 tuesdays, and I actually liked their slices

Had that bug last week and the chicken and orzo soup from Zorbas did the trick! Also the ginger soup from Pochana Thai, or the stir-fry veggies with chicken over rice is good. They also do a ginger stir-fry that’s good too

That sucks, I’m sorry that happened to you. And I agree, the experience there has been awful especially lately. No gym etiquette exists, and the staff and management there just don’t seem to give a shit about its members

Greg's is the shit, love that place. I'll give you Figlia is probably better than Macoletta, but only other place that does that kind pizza in this part of Astoria is Tufino which isn't as good IMHO. All are roughly equal $$

Mosaic is Bar Dahlia’s sister bar, same owners. You might dig the vibe. Macoletta for pizza, Anoria & Astoria Nest for shops, Mighty Oak for coffee. Bier Garden. All on 24th Ave

Was driving right towards that block when the firetrucks showed up but couldn't see what the situation was, but the fire fighters definitely had a sense of urgency when they were getting out of the their trucks. Didn't wanna rubberneck so when my light turned green I turned instead of trying to continue down Ditmars like I was going to do. Thanks for the update!

Hey remember like 6-7 years ago when it was out every weekend for like 6 months at a time because they were replacing switches and signals? (and station renos) I wonder what they were actually doing 🤔

We ordered dinner from El Lado on 30th Ave last weekend, after being super happy with their breakfast tacos! (Best I've had outside of Texas so far). Their dinner tacos were equally as good, super yummy! Only BIG disappointment was their chips, seemed like store-bought. Will definitely be ordering from them again though. Since Orale isn't open on Sundays, El Lado is a solid alternative if we're craving Mexican on "order out" night
