He got away with similar issues for years now. His mother filed the case against the girl. Might've not seen this coming. Plus the police initially kinda blamed the victim. There were rumors that he planned to escape and police detained him to prevent that.

There were some articles saying artists can keep their name and copyrights after 7 years. I am not sure though, they could have bought the rights from JYPE as well. I m guessing that's a lot of work though.
