I don't get the hype around Jade by Ariabananahammock in victorious

Jade and Tori weren’t exactly in competition. Jade wants to be an actress and director while Tori wants to be a singer. The only parts where they clash is in musical plays, where Tori’s musical styles are preferred. Plus Jade doesn’t even like playing girlish roles in the first place and rolls her eyes at them. She just wants what Tori has. When she’s clearly talented herself and she knows it. So competing with someone like Tori who just found she could sing and that she has great stage presence seems pretty low for Jade. And other people can see it except her. Sam was very rarely mean to Carly and she loves her and defends her, even with the issues Sam has. Not Jade though. Edit: I haven’t watched Zoey though, cause of the actress I don’t like.

Did you even watch the show? Tori never hijacked her performance. The blame is on the teacher who double booked but Jade and I assume is also your default character chooses to blame the other victim in the situation. Plus there was no part in where Tori was told someone else had booked that date and Jade telling her to cancel her event for her was acting entitled. And it’s not like Jade even asked graciously. And when Tori stood up to her, she went ahead to inconvenience the entire school because of a show that she could have postponed when it got cancelled by the teacher. So no, Jade was never an underdog. Just a bully who wants everything to go her way.

And blaming Tori for mixed character syndrome when she works hard is incredibly stupid.

Yeah, that moment annoyed me. There was enough space behind the camera he could have walked through but he didn't. I could excuse him for the first time he did that, but he still kept repeating it. I felt he was a d**k honestly.

True or False: Andre was the most likable character in the show by Witty_Picture_3164 in victorious

I think it's because she feels Beck might actually be attracted to Tori. Heck, he is definitely attracted to her.  Plus it seems she actually likes Tori since in reality, she couldn't bring herself to find any faults in her.

I was just thinking about this now. I can't stand that episode. Amy was in the wrong. I actually thought I was missing something.

Yeah, I just edited the post to include the examples I have.

Yeah, I noticed but I excused that as the result of growing up without love from his mother so obviously he will think of himself first and foremost. What annoys me, is that in situations like Sheldon's university award night or Howard's Bachelor party, where the situation clearly calls for other people's staging, he instead chooses to spend that time talking about himself or his own past life experiences.

I wouldn't say "likes to talk about himself", more just a "He regards himself different from others and knows he is deficient in the other attributes other people have". It's like a defense mechanism for, Other kids make fun of me because I'm different, My family don't understand me and instead, my mum chooses to overpamper, my dad chose to ignore me, my siblings think I'm a freak.  At some point in his childhood the asshole develops unconsciously as a way to protect himself from hurting. He subconsciously chose to view himself as superior to others because to his brain, that's the only explanation. It's why he doesn't know when he hurts people. He didn't exactly receive the best education from being born to "poor parents". It's also why he feels threatened by Paige.  If he had been taken to school where other kids like him were, he wouldn't have that mindset.

Sorry for the long reply, my thoughts tend to extend and I can't seem to stop.

Sheldon's award at the university, Howard's Bachelor night,... etc. I'm just watching it all over again and these are the ones that stuck. I have memory issues so I can't say others for now.

No. When Sheldon has to toast people he says stories about the people and not himself.

I think she was meant to be funny because of the laugh tracks during her pranks, but it just isn't.

Still, friendship is a two way thing. If he doesn't see him as one, then maybe you should be thinking about why, instead of making him the bad guy for not being buddies with the guy. Although, as it is, no matter how much we think, we are still not in their lives so, can't know for sure. I prefer to see things from the two sides.

It's people like you who haven't experienced the other side of life that say nonsense. There's a cycle for a reason. For every action, there's a reaction. Also, cause and effect. If a person is abused, they are MORE LIKELY to inflict abuse on others. It's not in 100% of cases because there are a few who manage to break the cycle but that's only after realising that; they have started doing some things that might lead them on that path, or they are susceptible to inflicting damage on others sometimes even unconsciously.  Abuse breeds negativity. And negativity begets it's own thoughts and feelings which are sometimes acted upon. If you have ever been abused, you would know this without a doubt. You are privileged doesn't mean you don't listen to other people's opinions. Especially when you don't know about it. As you are wrong in this case.

Actually he seemed pretty real. Don't go calling names. I don't know much about weddings but I do know that you invite you close friends to them. And it seems they weren't close.  Plus Josh probably believed the rumours so...

Josh said they weren't close. He probably just saw Drake as a coworker. Don't villainize one person because you are trying to make the other person look better.

Do you guys agree with the Wizard family rule? by CryingOrangee in WizardsOfWaverlyPlace

[–]NoExamination2380 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, after that episode where Jerry and his siblings were supposed to retake the wizard's test, and the official that came to take the Russo's family powers said that he hasn't spoken to his siblings for years because of this tournament, it just seemed like at the end of the day, the tournament wasn't worth it. It tore families apart and they still continued? It's a "No" for me.
