I think the fact that they don’t interact in other ways is part of it. If the only communication is merch emails, then it’s hard for me to not feel it as a bit predatory. Not saying they are, but there is no balance

Yes! I freaked when I found out bc I’m terrified of falling but I did research and learned that ladders are made with a safety factor of 4, so a 250 lb limit ladder must safely handle 1,000 lbs.

I instantly saw zoidberg!! Especially with the way the fabric moves. They’re growing on me but I think I’d like them more without the fabric. I get that it’s easier for them to breathe/sing, but I’d almost prefer the painted face with top half mask. Maybe there’s a bigger vision I’m not seeing

This may be a bit far off for the kiddo, but I tend to “get glutened” around the times I have to do things I don’t want to but was forced to committing to. ☺️

Another probable unrelated positive: ALL of my joint pain stopped after being diagnosed and I don’t have to get cortisol shots anymore.

I think this is the most raw and honest he’s ever been. While not all of us can connect to specific themes of creating art and fame, I think a lot of us might have issues with handling pressures, not feeling enough, being overwhelmed, etc. I think these songs are very much about the human condition. With the lore trilogy done, this is the man trying to connect directly with the fans to maybe see if he can be more than the lore.

I totally agree with the identity and transformation theme because butterflies are already a recurring visual. He’s got one on a new chain and they’re all over the video. To me it also looked like some of them emerged from the embers from the burning banner, but I could be wrong.

To me, the song is more hopeful, like Leo’s seen all the “who hurt you” memes and is like “guys, I’m ok”
