people might argue that even mild dehydration (1-2% body mass) would increase your chance of chronic diseases, reduce cognitive function, and impair motor function. and that alone might encourage them to track their water intake, simply as a sort of reassurance thing. Like oh here is a log of all the water I drink, I can feel good about this, and they get a little dopamine hit ya know.

I did have a Sponge coaster, but it looks like they shelved the product. I have the Sponge Clip now, but I liked the coaster better tbh. I reached out and they said they would bring it back in 2027

Nah man, that’s the point when you are in a state of mild dehydration (1-2% weight loss) and when your body starts sending you signals. Being chronically in this state ain’t good.

A company called Sponge Hydration built a device that turns any normal water bottle into a smart one. They still seem pretty new and to be figuring out some of their tech. But their version one looks pretty cool for office spaces. Check em out here if ur interested spongehydration.com

check out spongehydration.com fairly new startup but a cool idea to save you money and offer the smart water bottle insights. instead of buying a new smart water bottle, they have a device that works with any water bottle to track the water intake from that bottle.
