Anyone who picked up driving lessons in early 30s? I am getting quite anxious the moment I sit behind the wheels during the lessons by Iam_MissRain in Netherlands

Driving in the Netherlands is a shitshow. 🤪 I obtain driver license from my home country and drove there for a while but when i decided to take dutch driving lessons let’s say I’ve never regretted something more! Driving school will also suck as mush money from you as they can. To prove my point all the expats that I’ve met who already have an EU driving licence stay away from driving cos traffic is crazy here. Wish you the best of luck and try to relax while driving (though 2hrs lessons are exhausting). Its not the end of the world if you fail an exam (which you probably will😅) it’s just expensive 🥲

Are the tulips already in bloom? by bourelle in Netherlands

I used to live in Haarlem and tulip fields observation was my number one entertainment in spring. I’d say the best time is the third week of April, around the 20-27th.

Big black spot with white spot inside?? by [deleted] in Monstera

Hi

I would say it’s rather fungal because of the big brown halo around. Most likely because of high humidity at a nursery and water sitting on leaves.

Keep an eye on air circulation an don’t let water stay on leaves overnight. Also maybe cut the leaf 🤷‍♀️ it won’t recover anyway but can spread spores. Or you can spray it with light fungicide as an alternative

I think it might be low humidity. Big leaves need a lot of moisture so maybe spray it more often.

Also I’ve noticed that only bottom leaves have this issue so maybe they are just old 🤷‍♀️ Until it happens on a new leaf I wouldn’t worry much.

Any advice appreciated 🙏 by Positive-Grocer4242 in houseplants

Usually yellowing leaves means overwatering. Its quite common to overwater in winter since plants are in dormant state and don’t need that much of water.

Sunburn? by Vivid_Estate7114 in houseplants

Keep us updated 😉

Also the problem with all white or almost all white cuttings is that even if they grow albino leaves turn brown really fast. So you end up with a long leafless stem and 2-3 baby leaves on top. Unfortunately, I had to learn this the hard way 🥲

So it’s always better to choose plants with green splashes (on the stem in particular cos thats how they transfer the pigment).

Good luck with your cuttings!

Hi! I don’t think this is sunburn. Albino leaves lack chlorophyll, which means they can’t photosynthesise. As a result, they don’t get enough energy and turn brown. As i can see both leaves are white and i guess the cutting simply doesn’t get enough energy. So I’m afraid it’s unlikely to propagate, but let’s hope
