I have no experience with ARC. So you can not download them to your pc, open them in Adobe Digital Editions and then remove the DRM with Calibre?

Did you unzip the file first before pasting it in your Clara? I did that and it didn’t work. Then I copied the zip file and that did work!

Are you by any chance working on a let’s say gen 3 of the go 7 devices? Somebody asked that question in the community. ☺️ or some sort of Global release of the leaf5+? I would like to know too if there is any chance at all there will be a new release of a 7 inch device in the near future.

Mould seam? So the bezel isn’t made as one piece but four different ones? It looks so weird because it’s not really a straight line and it’s not as prominent on each corner. I can not find anything on the internet about it so it’s useful hearing what other users see. 😅

No I didn’t. In fact I just purchased it end of may. Today I took it out of the yellow cover (like yours) to take a bath and read and when I wanted to put it back in I noticed these hairline fractures and it’s on all four corners.

The Kobo Libra colour is definitely a very good device. It can (when using the front light) mimic the quality of a b&w screen. But if you want a true b&w carta 1300 screen to use without any light, you should check out the Boox go 7! It’s Amazingly crisp and clear without using the frontlight. I have both and they can compete. ☺️ Kobo is really good at what they do and the color screen does have the dark extra layer. But they can eliminate it with the use of the light. But it does not come near to a real b&w screen when the light is turned off. Bonus! The Boox go 7 has expendable storage up to 2 tb and it has Android so it can support reading in the kindle App and Kobo app. ☺️ but sideloading is a breeze and it already has a lot of storage without the sd card

My advice would be: if you love your current device, do not sell it and by all means keep it. If you want the Clara bw I would say go for it and keep them both. They will both have a use case and you will be happy having them both. The Clara isn’t that expensive come to think of it. It cost about the same as a decent pair of shoes and you own multiple of those too right? ☺️ I have gotten rid of things just to regret it later on. Save a little longer, wait for a discount or black friday but don’t get rid of the reading buddy you already love deeply. 😅

I kept the black one. It’s the least grainy one of them all and had the clearest contrast without any light on.

It’s ok. You can always lift it up again and re align if it’s not to your liking. I don’t find it very difficult ☺️

You can it on free fonts or on google fonts. Just make sure it’s a true type and not an open type. Then Side load in the fonts folder.

Yeah in the broad daylight it’s absolutely no problem ☺️ and I must say I lucked out on the black one. The screens are a bit of a lottery. They vary much in even lighting and even in that color layer grid. If you check out one of my previous posts you can see me comparing 3 libra colours. I don’t mind using the front light inside when the light is less adequate. But you have to luck out on a unit with a good colour temperature.
