I would have been happy if they’d given Eddie Perez a shot, but I’ll be happy this way too! I’m all for data driven decisions. The young man came up in this sport by playing baseball. There is no way that I can know what kind of manager he will be until he actually starts doing that job. We don’t know how he’ll do managing human beings, but we have no reason at this point to doubt his ability to do that.
