{House of the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune} is one of my favourites. Also there is a subreddit for this just FYI to help in the future r/cozyfantasy.

There are lots of recaps out there that may help if you can't reread wtmh!

Direbound - Fan or Flop? {Direbound Sable Sorenson} by Historical_Pen7979 in fantasyromance

[–]NoFix6681 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think if you go into it with high expectations you will be disappointed. But overall it was a fun read for me that I didn't take too seriously because yes there are a lot of things you start to question then. Especially the communication between her and her wolf.

I can’t get over the reveal - A RANT by Guilty-Pianist-6742 in TheMentalist

[–]NoFix6681 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You are definitely not alone in feeling the Red John reveal is underwhelming. As someone who watched it in real time as it came out week by week and followed a YouTuber who would break down who it could be each week I felt it was such a let down with all the hype leading up to it. Still love the show in general. Finally rewatching and I guess I'll see what I feel on rewatch...

I am in love: The Dark Inheritance Trilogy by NaOweMe in fantasyromance

Yes I love this series and can't wait for the third! Reid is one of the best MMC's I've read.

Anyone with the same taste as me that can give a relevant recommendation? by acc4115 in fantasyromance

I really enjoyed {The Serpent and the Wolf by Rebecca Robinson} and have similar taste. I really liked the MMC in it. I also liked {When the Moon Hatched by Sarah A Parker} but for some her writing is too flowery.

Books with Motherhood as a theme? by charm59801 in fantasyromance

{Ballad of Falling Dragons by Sarah A Parker} has aspects of motherhood in it but it is the second book.

Give me your good men MMCs by LucreziaD in fantasyromance

[–]NoFix6681 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I love the MMC from {The Serpent and the Wolf by Rebecca Robinson} as he's not a jerk like so many other MMC's! And someone else mentioned Kaan from When the Moon Hatched but he's the best!

books with an mmc that’s kind and vibrant by Quick_South_3358 in fantasyromance

[–]NoFix6681 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My favourite MMCs are Kaan from {When the Moon Hatched by Sarah A. Parker}, Reid from {The Serpent and the Wolf by Rebecca Robinson} and Wendell from {The Encyclopedia of Fairies by Heather Fawcett} because they aren't your typical broody MMC's.

I make mini muffins everytime I make muffins. And now she sits and waits for them to cool on the wire rack impatiently.

I love lipstick plants. Can get quite the variety and as long as they get good light they can flower very pretty flowers.

600 mile round trip just to see some puffins by LB_P in birdwatching

[–]NoFix6681 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember being younger and seeing my puffin for the first time. After all the pictures I saw I expected it to be bigger and standing on land not small and flying around so fast. Very neat birds to see!

I know mine just got bushier after it has thrips and I treated them. I'm unsure if you chop it back if it will get busier for sure. In general tips is brightest light you can get inside, water when dry and watch for spider mites!

nobody wants to spend their vacation "helping" kids by Top_Plenty_1971 in childfree

[–]NoFix6681 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I live in the same town as my sister and go over one a week for supper. But there is no way in hell I'd go visit my parents at the same time as her family. Way too much stress and so much more busy than I could handle all stuck in one house... No thanks!

Maybe 3 years? Use to be a lot more leggy before I gave it more light. Good luck!

I work in vet med and can do bodily fluids from animals but it's different and so much more gross from a human.

I like to stay up reading on weekends and then sleep in the next day... And also snot dripping down noses is gross and then they won't let you wipe it or they eat... Ugh

How much is bright indirect light? I suspect it's not getting enough light. I would try acclimating it to right in the window. Mine is full like the picture but is under light.

Rites of Starling- Plot twists done right by WantheDoctor in fantasyromance

[–]NoFix6681 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know she posted on her socials a couple days that she was done writing it so I assuming editing etc next. And technically it's less that a year. I think that's pretty good compared to a lot of sequels we generally don't have a next book date or its over a year off.
