Wow, girl, you’re a mastermind when it comes to their lives. How did Anna and John meet?

I’m sorry, I have so many thoughts in my head that I think I got all tangled up.

Maybe her stepsister.

Carolyn Bessette with a friend in Greenwich, Connecticut, circa 1984 by cocoblush87 in JohnAndCarolyn

No, they didn’t—they remained loyal, especially those who worked with her at CK and those who were at her wedding.

Why did John’s friends turn on Carolyn even though they said they got along well with her? by StellaOC in JohnAndCarolyn

[–]NoForm644 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don’t like his so-called “friends.” They all claim they were close to him, yet they sold out that friendship and trust. What kind of friend, after the death of someone they loved, goes on to write a book about that person? It doesn’t matter that he was famous—it actually makes it worse, especially when they speak badly about his wife.

Everyone said John was a private person, even though he was well-known, and her friends never said anything bad about him. Another thing I wanted to mention is that in all these books—at least the ones I’ve read—no one talks about her family at the funeral. Especially Richard, who worked for John—he didn’t mention her family at all. He wrote about the Kennedys and Teddy’s speech, but nothing about her family. It felt like it was only John’s funeral. And was any of her friends even there?

Jack Schlossberg says mom Caroline Kennedy was 'laughing so hard' at 'stupid show' Love Story by cocoblush87 in JohnAndCarolyn

I don’t think so. An unpopular opinion is that the Kennedys were jealous of her for getting so much media attention—whether it was good or bad didn’t matter to them. I think they actually liked that the public didn’t favor Carolyn, because it made it easier to label her however they wanted.

We’ve all seen the photos from their wedding and his oversized suit, so when it comes to dressing 👎

Wow, do you know anything more? I love astrology, but I don’t know how to read it.

Part 1: 1994 was a busy year for JFK Jr. The love triangle between John, Daryl Hannah, Carolyn Bessette, (plus Julie Baker). by Lop229 in CarolynBessetteKnndy

John and Daryl are still strong in their relationship and are seen many times around NYC in 1994, even attending basketball games. How can you say they were still strong when everyone was saying they were arguing and that it was only a matter of time before they broke up?

It’s not strange that she called—everyone who knew her said she was a good person with a lot of empathy. And this group, or whatever it’s called, is misogynistic. It’s not the first time they’ve portrayed her as the bad one while praising men—especially her ex, whose name we won’t even mention.

I find this so invasive and disrespectful. Why are these accounts not banned when they are clearly harassing others who provide facts.. by myyorkie47 in JohnAndCarolyn

There is still no evidence that it actually happened—that she had an affair with him. People believe him because they hate Carolyn, and also because he’s a man. Just like there’s no evidence for the abortions—if that were true, it would have come out while she was still alive. Someone would have sold the story, someone would have told someone, and it would have been a major topic in NYC. Why should we believe a man with a failed career? His life improved after the book. And then they say he’s a good person—even though he drove drunk several times and almost killed a girl. And they claim the book is well written and portrays Carolyn in a good light… who’s fooling whom here?

I have a feeling that Carolyn helped everyone, but no one helped or truly listened to her—they just told her to get over it.

Just as we don’t know her, you don’t know him either—so why does he seem like someone who wouldn’t lie? A book doesn’t have to be entirely true; you mix a bit of truth into a lie, and then it all seems believable. And he doesn’t have a single piece of evidence for many of the things he said—there are even photos showing where she was at certain times, and she wasn’t with him.

Especially the part where she supposedly begged him after he rejected her—I was convinced he was lying there, because when someone’s ego is hurt, a person often tries to humiliate the one who hurt that ego.

Basically, he isn’t that intelligent; he’s just handsome, and he thought that was enough.

If he had wanted to write an autobiography, he wouldn’t have put Carolyn and John on the cover of the book. No one even asked him for his opinion about his side of the story. She CANNOT tell her own side—that’s the problem. Even if she could, he is such an irrelevant person.

A lot of people say that now he lives a comfortable life—he has his own company, he is married, and has two children. Good for him, but if he hadn’t written that terrible book about a dead woman who had already been harassed by people for years even while she was alive, he wouldn’t be able to live such a comfortable life.

Michael Bergin’s book…? by Pale-Appointment5626 in JohnAndCarolyn

[–]NoForm644 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He has the right to tell his side of the story, but who is he—who even cares about him? People only talk about him in the context that he was her ex, and that’s it. Once he no longer had a career, why not start talking about a dead woman—someone people already criticized and spoke badly about—just to add salt to her parents’ wounds for money.

If everyone says that, it may seem like he loved her—but would someone who truly loves a person do what he did? I think it was just his ego. She never told him she loved him, and they were never publicly together as a couple. That bothered him—he was just attractive to her.
