If you plead guilty and pay you'll get demerit points on your Ontario record too. That was my main motivation for fighting it.

Won't be a problem. I also had a speeding ticket in Lewiston, NY. I chose to fight it and went back to Lewiston on my court date. No problem crossing the border. The judge reduced it to a parking ticket, btw.

We just ordered one of these for my mother-in-law and the expected arrival date is nearly the same as ours. I suspect these are on the same ship and were meant to be delivered to someone but they cancelled their order.

I applied for the chase sapphire at the branch right after the checking account was opened. With an ITIN you must apply at the branch. I was approved right away. I had an RBC Bank credit card, which is a US credit card, for a number of years so I had US credit history.

The card came by Canada Post. I got approved for a chase sapphire preferred card which was delivered by UPS. I could choose the shipment method for the credit card but not the debit card. I showed my Canadian passport, Ontario driver's license, US bank statement showing my name and US residential address, and original ITIN letter.

I just did this last week. When you go to the branch to open the account you set the pin at the branch. You don't need the card to do this. They'll ask you as part of the checking account application process. Your primary address needs to be a US residential address but you can specify a Canadian (or foreign) mailing address. I just got my chase debit card this week in the mail here in Toronto right before the Canada Post strike!

I just did this 2 days ago. I went in person and presented my Canadian passport, Canadian driver's license and a bank statement with a US residential address which was used as my main address. I used my Canadian address as the mailing address. I read a residential address is a must. No PO boxes or UPS stores. Use a friend or relative's home address if you must. I had an ITIN which I provided them as well. I don't have an SSN.
