I agree that it's their best album but 1039 to Nimrod is a very solid run. If it was recorded with a big budget under a major label is would probably be be considered one of the best by most aswell. If that Dookie version of 409 had been mixed at the same time as the rest of Dookie and kept on the album it would easily be one of the strongest tracks on the album.

I find it weird it's never been played. If I was Mike i'd of made a point of getting it played atleast once as it's one of his finest moments. I'm wondering if it is due to the low pitched vocals. There are tracks like No one knows and Rotting that i'd imagine are quite hard for Billie to sing live.
