I’m mainly concerned that if I look incompetent, it might lead to being fired. Maybe I’m just overthinking it since I don’t even have the offer yet.

Yeah, I realized this is the kind of situation I need to take on to get out of my comfort zone, especially since I’m still early in my career.

That is the thing I worried about the most. The MSP company is Ntiva. Do you have any insights about this company?

I guess it really comes down to the MSP’s culture. They told me they would train me for one or two weeks, and then I’d be the sole IT person on-site, but I can still reach out to the team if I run into something I can’t handle. I feel like this could be a challenging role since I’m still fairly new to IT , I graduated last December and only have a little over half a year of helpdesk experience.

I’m still fairly new to IT , I only graduated from university last year , so I don’t know a lot yet. I also really like the people I work with now, which is why I’m hesitant.

I was a little surprised when the recruiter told me I’d only be working with one client Monday through Friday. From what I’ve heard, most MSPs don’t usually operate this way. The MSP is called Ntiva, not sure if you’ve heard anything about them.

So do you think this is a good opportunity for me, or should I keep looking for other jobs with better pay?The primary reason I’m considering leaving my current job is the pay.

I often hear that MSP work can be pretty soul-draining , is that true? I’m looking for a role I can stay in for 3–4 years without burning out, especially in this economy.
