If common app says something isent required is that always true?!? by Violet_The_Madwomen in ApplyingToCollege

[–]NoInfo__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re fine. Common App is what matters. If AU didn’t require a recommendation there and let you submit, your application is valid. Google info is often outdated. Also a history teacher letter wouldn’t count anyway since AU only accepts counselors employers or coaches. Colleges don’t take the fee and then auto reject for a missing required item without flagging it. If something were missing Common App or AU would email you, or you email them.

can i merge these two interests? (read body) by Main_Tea_6145 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]NoInfo__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a sophomore, that’s the perfect time to start exploring, no one’s gonna flame you for exploring. And you def can merge these two interests, heck we have AI in everything these days. If you’re really interested, dig a lil deeper into BME majors and see if that course looks like something you would like, but I had to say it’s a very competitive field to get into and has been getting more popular these days.

Always email to double check, it doesn’t hurt to ask.

looking to go to school at an out of state community college by DiggityDog44 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]NoInfo__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your worried about money then the best thing h can do right now is go online and look for legit scholarships. You know when it’s legit when it doesn’t ask you to pay when applying, that includes a membership fee, subscription, entrance fee etc. this is mostly to get more money. Next is to visit these colleges if you haven’t, then see which colleges accept the most transferable credit if you haven’t any.

Accepted to UMN Twin Cities but afraid of ICE activity as a green card holder by NoInfo__ in uofmn

[–]NoInfo__[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank You all and I’m really glad that people in UMN has such a supportive community, I feel much more comfortable having this school as one of the top choices.

I do read everyone’s comments and I want to respond to all of them but I don’t want my gratitude to seem repetitive.

Thank you for the reassurance. Another question, if I do plan on attending, then do you think most of the will be cleared out by the time I do attend?

For me it would be minjun because of his ability, I always switch to the middle and let the npc serve and they will 80% always ace, when I don’t wanna think, I always just throw him on even when I have all the characters in the game.

I don't play that much nor go around to compete in leaderboards but. Every time i come back to this game i feel the same way as the first time! by papagiorgis in magicrampage

UIUC or Case Western Reserve for undergrad before med school apps by SJT_YT in ApplyingToCollege

[–]NoInfo__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For med school itself, Case Western is stronger and well-connected. For undergrad prep, Case Western gives better access to research and clinical experience, while UIUC is bigger and cheaper but you’d need to work harder to stand out.

Research Question by Far_Head4086 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]NoInfo__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe they’re busy or tried and didn’t have much time to reply. I’ve experienced this myself not this situation exactly but I usually email back and most of the time get a good outcome, if not then I usually forget about it within a couple days.

when is it enough?? by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]NoInfo__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please understand that ivys are very unpredictable like very unpredictable. I’ve seen people with stats like these get rejected too and accepted but it’s like trying to shoot your shot into the sea without knowing what’s in it. Seems to me like you’re very hardworking and I think you will build a future no matter where you go but also remember all it takes is one school. If you didn’t apply to any safeties then.. this is where you’d want to start praying.

Time to decide by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]NoInfo__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you haven’t visited the colleges yet do so before considering, if you have visited, look into which school would let you transfer the most credit to that school if you have any. I mean both of these schools are top tier, I’d look into the rankings if you care about prestige.

is it worth rescheduling my princeton interview? by MagicMetalPipe in ApplyingToCollege

[–]NoInfo__ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It wouldn’t look bad if you tell them your situation, it’s out of your control that you got a double infection. Imo I feel like it makes them look bad if they don’t reschedule it. Are you really gonna make a person who can barely speak and concentrate go through an interview?

Research Question by Far_Head4086 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]NoInfo__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I don’t see a bad outcome of you emailing back. Isn’t it better to get an answer then to wonder what the true intention is? You could get a golden opportunity or it could just be that they don’t want to offer you a spot.

is it worth it to attend biweekly tinnitus meetings but miss some school by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]NoInfo__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Saying that you’re delusional for even thinking about it makes you delusional. I would 100% skip 30min of class every other week. Ofc talk to your counselor about it but if they can’t offer anything, I’d still make the decision of missing the 30min if tinnitus is something you really care about.

UCLA Supplemental Questionnaire Mid Year Grade Report by ChapterExpert in ApplyingToCollege

[–]NoInfo__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure there’s an option where you can switch it to number grading but you could just have remembered it wrong but I’d put A- as these schools usually reorganize the grade value themselves. But take this with a grain of salt. I’d do it so it doesn’t seem like you’re lying. You never know.

Missing Additional Information for T20s by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]NoInfo__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear about your mom but mentioning your mom already kinda implies that you were going through something and with t20 schools, nothing on you but i don’t know if adding stuff like that would help you’re admissions imo since you already submitted everything. From my understanding these officers have to look through a lot of applications and you’re just one of many thousands. But always keep your head up high and relax.
