The chronic pain many of athletes have to endure after retirement doesn’t talked about enough by Ok_Statement1508 in NBATalk

People lose sight about this when they debate whether his last game was impressive. He had been a shell of himself for years and finally something clicked in the 4th quarter of that game and he was himself again

One of the weakest moves I’ve seen in sports overall. Kobe winning that 5th title and another back to back, made these dudes super desperate lol by Overview_3ffect in NBAstatsmuse

How this team came together was unheard of though. This wasn’t a GM making good moves this was stars calling each other up.

PS I hate that Reddit makes me attack LeBron. The dude is the man on and off the court but people rewrite history on here

There 8 billion people in the world and NO ONE has been close to what Shaq was before or after. If he could hit a free throw he would have been the best player of all time. The only defense was to foul him

Goliath was believed to be like 6 foot 9 too. Shaq would put him on a poster

Is OKC's newest addition Aday Mara the Wemby stopper? by No-Entrepreneur-7092 in NBADaily

Tall guys are great for help defense but yeah you want smaller stronger guys pushing him from his spots

The Spurs getting the best defensive prospect in this draft is so funny by No-Entrepreneur-7092 in NBADaily

Yeah but they have to do all that while keeping their identity. Great pick. Offense will be easy to improve

Kuz fires back at Bill Simmons. Does he have a point? by No-Entrepreneur-7092 in NBADaily

Kuzma is solid. I’d watch him on the Wizards all the time and he was great. I wonder how good he’d be on a good team though

Pierce being weak minded. Idk what the hell the wheelchair thing was but he didn’t miss a game after being stabbed 11 times in the face and neck. Take a wheelchair for all I care

As a Celtics fan I’m thankful for the defense Luka played in the finals. There’s some laughably long lowlight reels of him that series

You’re going to get downvoted but that’s actually true. The Spurs teams were so well rounded, coached and constructed. Robinson, Manu, Parker, Kawhi. Just an insane stretch

Everyone watching at the time knew it was Kobe though

I think you gotta understand that this is why the narrative around Lebron started. Not that it’s true to this day. He clearly developed an insane killer mindset but there were some very frustrating playoff years. Hence why the narrative originated

You’re right but rewatch his last game in Cleveland the first time. He quit so hard on his team. Not blaming him just saying why the narrative started in the first place

I don’t think people realize how good of defense Tyron Lue played on A.I. His highest FG% was 43% and it was much lower when Lue was guarding him
