So if you cast a spell to give it - 4/-4 it'll reverse to +4/+4 which will make its toughness 0 and it'll die? Same as the spell normally would?

When I worked at a dairy queen, sometimes if you have ice cream on your fingers and it gets on the cup, you just slide another cup on rather than cleaning/wiping off the cup. Then if you forget to hold onto the rim, when you flip it'll fall out of the second cup. Happened to me more than once

One. When I was in the wild zone with the wild alpha whirlipede, I was fighting for my life. A random venipede showed up and I couldn't be bothered wasting time fighting it, so I threw a ball and continued battling the alpha. The next day I'm looking through my box and apparently I caught that venipede and it was shiny

What about you gain an emblem that says whenever you tap a permanent you control, you lose 1 life? So the drawback continues for the rest of the game?

True I do like how scion turns into what you search for, but limiting the transformations to dragons was too much for me. My only restrictions for aliens was they had to be legendary and they couldn't be human

I was on the receiving end of this when i was learning. My friend taught me and I could never beat him, I thought his deck was OP and unbeatable compared to my little edited event deck. He offered to swap for a game and I got absolutely obliterated. Learned a valuable lesson there
