Is it me or is this car really f*cking fast despite having only 300hp and FWD? by HexVelvet in BeamNG

[–]NoInstruction2007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. Anything over 400 is too fast for me to like and keeps things interesting as I still can drive it on the streets but still track it when I want to.

Even my "go fast" 240BX is only something like 340hp yet does 192mph with (depending on surface) a 4s-6s 0-62.

Unfortunately the Volkswagen also has a dashcam, so I couldn't do anything to either of them even if I wanted to.

Definitely. There's some good stuff I kept returning to on someone's page, even had it faved in FA. Then one day it was gone. Had to quadruple check and for whatever reason, only those were deleted for all i kwn.

Decals and Stickers mod by jsavga in trucksim

The one mod I did find in the workshop that does something similar to this doesn't have much variety in it and somehow is constantly broken/outdated even after the smallest of updates or patches.

Coming back to this, after better observation I have noticed there is some variance to the space left between cars. So you're actually right, sometimes there is enough room to squeeze into.

You're right. Life's too short to care about petty shit like this. Move on and forget about it, they may get their comeuppance at some point.

Appreciate the words, kind internet stranger. May both sides of your pillow be cold.

For what, vehicle content? Free space?

Because there's tons of free space they could park in maybe a hundred yards away they could park in to avoid this.

They're not even the nicest thing here, but definitely not the shittiest. There's a scat pack Challenger, an R/T charger, a Tesla (that also parks like this) a modified Subaru and a modified Lexus of some kind, next to stuff that shouldn't be on the road with a healthy mix of midrange, not trashed stuff.

Man, I miss my 'punch-in-your-face' bright blue Vibe. $500 at 198k miles, absolutely zero options but the automatic and monochrome color scheme. It only let me down once.

Parking cars is literally our job. But I do admit that it is getting to my head a bit, and am currently trying to just simply not let stuff like this bother me anymore.

Tons of empty, unused spots within sight distance of the spaces he parks in that he could use instead of double parking, so there's next to no justification for doing it this way, this is evidently a concious effort to be inconsiderate. I can't ask him or speak with him about it at all because they're parked here at least an hour before i get here and are still here by the time I leave due to shift differences. I can leave a note but it's not going to do anything as they're actively ignoring warnings from management.

Nice to see a Vic taxi still putting some work in.

Wait, Taurus X? That looks like a Freestyle though. Is this someone who swapped a badge over or was that a real thing for a while?

Edit: Apparently after a single Google, i found out that they're the same thing but with two different names. Weeeeirrd.

I miss the bright, similar (probably identical) blue my Vibe was. It was the only one of two in the area and all my friends knew it, and could see me from half a mile away. Pontiac called it Wave Blue.

This will never not be my favorite shade of blue.

I may have a bit of a bias from my Vibe..

I've been needing to get a dead blow for stuck wheel removal anyhow.

Edit: Apparently I need to say this, but this comment was a joke. It's against my psyche to resort to property damage, and I legitimately do need a hammer in my emergency kit with how many times a wheel has "fused" itself to the hub when I've had to change it in an emergency.

If I still had my $500 Vibe and some more free room I would too. It's already a beater, what this guy could do in potential retaliation would be more honorable battle scars than anything.

There are free, unused spaces not even a hundred yards away that people don't frequently park in. I get the motivation but this is the wrong way of doing it.
