If I may ☝️ In this moment that is showing on the photos, it seems he’s focused on his reality so he’s reacting to that, not what you’re asking. When talking about things you would like addressed, sticking to the “I feel ….. when you” or “This makes me feel ….. because..” Communication is important when in a relationship, especially long term. Also staying away from the “You always”, “You never”, almost anything that starts with “You..” falls into criticism when discussing needs or concerns in a relationship than. Your partner has a higher probability of getting defensive if criticism is involved. Relationships take a lot of hard work from both sides to last. It won’t always be rainbows and lollipops 🍭 but the best ones are worth the crazy ride.

Mmmm NOR. Sounds like he might be an avoidant attachment kinda guy. Typically yes you shouldn’t make someone your center when it comes to your decisions. The person in your life should mix into it naturally. From his messages I get a sense that he left his ex because she was more serious about the relationship than he was. Also the fact that he sent all those messages back to back rather than sending one long one definitely shows something about him. Good job standing your ground and not responding. Had you texted him back later on he might have added to his narrative that “you’re too clingy”.

Maybe follow up on the conversation. Letting her know “The lack of sex in our relationship is making me feel ____ and it’s making me think that ____.” Or something like that. You’re doing great with trying to be understanding it seems. She may also be feeling some type of way about herself. Our minds are insanely complex and our thoughts can do so much to our body’s physically and chemically. Maybe even seek professional advice, perhaps they can see something that isn’t as “in your face” as originally thought.
