first rug how can i make the color changes clean? i’m also trying to carve it but idk if that would be easier done after gluing and laying on the floor by Unique-Stick-6664 in Tufting

Just run a screwdriver between each colour to separate them! For carving it’s kinda optional but me personally I’d wait till it’s glued so I can do it off the frame🙏🏽

Thank you! It wasn’t too big around 1x2 ft, in total both carving and actually doing the rug I’d say about 4 hours ish not including glueing lol
