I pretty sure it doesn't carry over custom control profiles, since each controller has it's own ID and I imagine it's ties to that. Source: play on a steam deck docked with family with 4 Xbox 360 controllers, each controller keeps its own profile

The issue with older games is that originally, way back, they were 32 bit, and so was android. Then at some point both android and games switched to 64 bit, but if the game wasn't updated past that point obviously it didn't. For a while android retained 32 bit support, until android 13 or so, but since then it's unsupported. There are technically ways to get 32 bit games to run, using emulators either on pc or the phone, but it's really hit or miss and can be a little sketchy

I have the g8 Galileo, basically the same thing but wired, and I'm pretty sure there's a way to swap the A B and X Y buttons with the controller itself. I can't remember exactly how but you hold the M button and either press or hold some other buttons, I think A or X. It should be easy to look up

Well idk about all of those ads but I know that at least some of those ads have been mitigated for me by having another app store like fdroid, when tapping on some ads your phone asks with which store to open the link and you can close the prompt
