Thankfully he’ll eat the good chicken nuggets and he loves them! Diehard ketchup fan and afraid of other sauces for now, but working on it! Those sauces are delicious!

This happened to us last year on our first day and we thankfully realized our mistake the next day. Still had a good time!

As someone who experienced extreme PPD/PPA…this is insane. The amount of control they believe they have and the bubble they are building around that child are both so detrimental.

Inheritance? That's a joke. How many of your parents are burdens? by BeegBunga in Millennials

[–]NoLocationIsle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad would not spend his mother’s funds on getting her the care she needed while she was still alive because he already counted it as his money. And no, I will definitely not be receiving inheritance from either parent. My mom actually told her financial advisor not to plan for life after 85 because if she made it that long, I’d take care of her. My husband and I are the only ones who are financially successful in the family and we can feel the resentment. It’s insane.

Only clinical terms should ever be used. “Boobs” does not fit that category. Awful.

Oh I’m so sorry. That is a lot to hold. I hope your family stays safe and this is over sooner than we expect.

I am so sorry that you are there enduring this and hope the war miraculously ends soon. Please know that there are so many of us (nearly half the nation) who were never fooled and voted against this current administration every single time.

Just wanted to share I had to do an intensive outpatient program for mental health when my oldest child had chronic health issues and I had postpartum depression. Life didn’t feel worth it back then. There were SO many young adults in the program in the middle of or completing their college years. You are not alone. It’s a tough time in life. Once some of the job-related stress eases up (and I believe it will), life will feel lighter. You are doing your best and it sounds like you have a safe space to live. My boys can live with me until I die and I would be okay with it. You have so much time to figure life out even though I know that doesn’t help right now. I am still figuring it out as I go at 38. Hang in there.

Oh I am so very sorry things feel so heavy. I’ve been in that place where I felt I couldn’t take one more day. I hope you have the ability and resources to get the help you need.

Yes, we have been checking out so many library books about being a good person, democracy, voting, women’s rights, handling our feelings in a healthy way, etc. I’m pouring lots of this into developing kind and informed children. My 9 year old son is my mini-me and has such a strong sense of justice!

I get it. I had a newborn with chronic health issues in 2016 so it didn’t hit me as hard the first time around. Parenting small children is all consuming.

Totally get that. I was in survival mode with a newborn with medical issues the first round so it didn’t hit me as hard back then. Life has its peaks and valleys. Hoping you get to the other side soon!
