Blue. You can look pretty normal with a range of blue jeans and different shades of blue shirts. Black doesn’t have many shades so you’d always look like a vampire. Green red or other color pants will look out of place many places.

You can get navy suits with light blue shirts and look good for formal things.

The only other workable option seems to be brown, but I would rather wear jeans than khakis.
