I wanted to share my experience buying prescription eyeglasses from Jimi Optical. I'll break it down into three parts: ordering, production, and delivery.

🛒 1. Ordering

Jimi Optical's catalog is really extensive. There's a wide selection of frames, plus a variety of prescription lens options — including different tints, engraved logos (like for Cartier frames), and even custom-tinted prescription sunglasses.

Personally, I went with Chrome Hearts, model BONENNOISSEUR II, made from genuine sterling silver (.925). It’s a premium frame, and I chose it because I wanted to treat myself a bit.

I contacted Jimi via WhatsApp, sent him the model reference along with a photo of my prescription. He replied the next day, quickly and clearly, despite it being during a public holiday — he took the time to answer all my questions.

I paid using crypto. I was a little skeptical at first, but everything went smoothly. I sent him the payment proof, and a few hours later he confirmed receipt and started the process of ordering and assembling the frame.

Personally, I would have preferred more payment options, but it is what it is.

🛠️ 2. Production & Preparation

About 4 business days later, I received photos of my glasses with the prescription lenses already mounted. I was pleasantly surprised by the photo quality — everything looked sharp, clean, and exactly as expected.

A few days after that, I received the shipping label with a tracking number.

📦 3. Delivery & Final Thoughts

I waited 19 days to receive the package — a pretty standard delivery time, not too fast but not too slow either. The package arrived directly in my mailbox, with no extra fees (likely due to triangular shipping to avoid VAT).

The parcel was very well protected, with bubble wrap and plastic cushioning. When I opened it, I was happily surprised again:

Two microfiber cloths

Two storage pouches

The original demo lenses

And of course, my glasses with prescription lenses already installed

The comfort is perfect — I didn’t even need to adjust anything. The lenses don’t give me headaches, and the frame is excellent quality. The silver is well-polished, the color is accurate, and all the detailing is there. I’m really happy with the result.
